If you lived closer your tank would be full already ;-)
After today though I've freed up a fair bit of space, I ended up taking 6 buckets of small and large frags to my LFS lol
Now I'm thinking about trimming back a few more but I probably won't until I adjust my dosing.
Good too see your Achillies doing well too buddy, such an awesome fish
Seeing the sizes of your trims bud in your thread,i'm pretty sure my tank would be full even with only half of them lol
Your trimms were small colonies!
Me too mate,i'll hold myself and won't start talking about what i feel for this kind of fish:inlove:
I mean achilles in general, not mine only.
No wonder they're so bloody fat!! They don't even need to chase their food, it's handed to them on a silver platter lol
A big group of dispars like that would look amazing! I'm sure in your capable hands they would fair well through QT
Just get your local to make sure they're eating prepared before you take them home and the hard work is already done for you! lol
:lmao::lmao:
You get me closer and closer, each day bud,to make up my mind
Cleaned my quarantine yesterday, just in case...just in case
Yeah love the aquascape glaukos. The negative space on the bottom brings some needed shadow that I think is necessary in aquascapes, especially with highly diffused light like T5. It visually emphasizes and expands the tanks height in a very positive way. Gives room for great flow..
It's a winner for a bunch of technical reasons -- And it looks good to boot.
Whenever I've got a tank with the proper size/dimensions, that's exactly the type of scape I'm looking to have.
That's exactly what i was thinking while i was doing it bud:beer:
Agree with everything you said.Plus when and IF i ever manage to make the corals big, that free space will still be there for the fish to swim.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words!
Wish you'll get soon, the tank and dimensions you like it to be:thumbsup
How is the Empy behaving Mike?
Ive always wanted a big Angel and seeing yours has my brain ticking again lol
"The dude" is playing relatively nice with the sps.Lps on the other hand were his snacks:-(
I had to give away my brain coral(which i had for almost 8 years) before he destroyed it.Some acans and favias too.
I had only 3 lps in there so i don't reaaaally miss them.
Especially regarding the brain,i could see him eat some of it's flesh with every bite.
As for the sps he changes his menu from time to time. One week his favorite coral to nip is the valida and the next is the slimmer.
Never does any damage at all.5-6 bites during the whole day.
Polyps retract for some time and after a couple of minutes they are out again.
I think that his nipping has gottten lesser compared to when he was younger but maybe that's me.
Got a pic of him yesterday as i was playing with the phone. He has changed a lot and still has some more to go through.
If you do buy one,it's going to be a very lucky fish:beer:
