It is a state of art of Dr. Bridge skills, especial when we found RD pipe is not unique thickness around, it become quite a challenge to what we plan to fix. It seems Red Dragon team has strong fluid mechanics design to keep best performance. Amazing!!!

Video was great!! The tank is looking all grown in now. Colors are better and better also. Thanks for sharing.

LOVED IT! :)
Music was perfect as well.

Good to know you like it. The only shortage is those excellent coral in your tank :)
I also like that music a lot, thanks.

Amazing tank and growth .
How many drops of AF ABVE you dose and do you dose it in the sump or DT.

I dose ABEV two to three times of recommended on the label. I also dose KZ CV daily. All are dose in DT.

I realize often after coral gorw, sometimes need to rearrange coral position to balance overall look. Maybe someone has better art sense can do it right at beginning. Many coral moved to back side (dinning room side) )and some coral from back move to living room side of tank. It reminds me I should share my dinning room side of tank soon.

My friends heard my concern of Apex AFD limitation (no empty box detection, ugly enough on top of rimless open top tank), so they spend a weekend help me made one masterpiece!!!

So happy....

Thanks, my dear friends.

Nice design, I'd be interested in something like this.

Hello,

Amazing video.....I really like this kind of progress shots videos.
My impression is that the tank is colorful than ever...Am I right?

How many chromis do you keep nowadays?
Are they thrive in your reef or you must replace the dead ones?

Regards

Alex

That is a great question!! Are they getting along? Shih I know you must love their look in your already great looking tank.
I really like Chromis School look. Before getting them I did my research. Asked around.
The one comment I got was "Over time you will be left with only one".
But I couldn't resist and got 8 Blue Green Chromis's (same size) about 8 month ago.
They went thru the pecking stage, establishing dominace order.
Then one died shortly, and there were 7. They swam nice as school for a long time.
One by one they killed each other off, by not allowing the weakest to eat. But remaining school stay together. One out each time.
I saved one since he swam weakly into net, and he is alone in another tank.
I now have 3 BIG Chromis's left. They don't school anymore.
There is an good Article about them in Coral Magazine VOL 13, No 2.
Says you need to get them in higher numbers, preferably 10-12 depending on tank size (to diffuse the aggression).
I want to increase the school to larger number, but LFS's don't carry big ones. Not sure it adding 10 small ones, to 3 big established ones is a good idea.

Survival chances of Chromis viridis as a group are increasing if you can feed multiple times per day, let's say at least once per hour from 'sunrise' 'till 'dawn'.
Not per se more food, but spreading it out more even during daytime.

Thanks. It is a custom made from two of my friends. One response for the design and 3D printer work, another do HW/SW design to add weight sensor to detect empty feeder. I love my friends and love this nice unit.

Really like the video.
Helps me understand Progress/Growth and improvements, Color changes over time.

Thanks. Color change, down time/good time and coral grow.... So many wonderful things for reef keeper like us ;-)

Loved the video. :) Glad to see the tank is still doing well.

Haha... I have less business trips in 2017, so turn out with many good chances to take care my tank ;-)

Such an amazing tank, thank you for sharing with us!

Always love to share and happy to see positive response. Thank you.

It took me a while to figure out how to well balance KZ + Aquaforest on supplement dosing volume. After figure it out, coral performance turn better and more colorful.

I have a bout 15 to 20 chromic and lost count. It has been a while (more than a year) that I don't need to replace dead ones to keep the volume. But I remember the first year of this tank, I did have to replace dead ones to keep the number. I guess once coral grow to colony, they have more place to hide and rest. There is a very little one compare to others, she keep small size, but no broken fins or any damage, so I guess she is not easy to get enough food, but figure how to hide.

I probably already answered in early reply. In first year of tank age, I had to add more to keep the number, but I haven't do that for at least a year. I think coral colony help them to hide and divert their attack mind somehow. Don't really know. This is a good question and observation, hope we can figure out together.

Good point. I did feed fish three times a day, but not every light on hour.

Really love your video!
Congratulations!
Could you tell me the distance between Ati Hybrid and water line?

Thank you.

My ATI fixture is about 25 cm above water line. If I have new coral in tank, I will pull up my ATI fixture to 60 cm above, and gradually down in a week. Hope this help.
