Any shooters on here??

Is the pistol going to be used for home defense or a range toy. I always recomend a glock or a revolver. Both simple to operate under stress. A 9mm with +p ammo is easier to control and just as powerfully as a 40. If you end up with a 10mm I give you a box of Underwood ammo. I have an hk usp 40 you can try out as well.

It will prob be in the garage. Mainly for the North Korean invasion or a zombie apocalypse. I don't want to be the only one not packing.

So mostly target, I don't intend to keep it locked under my bed or anything like that at this point. I'd like to get some more practice and refreshers in before I would do something like that. Maybe we can get together after the holidays and hit some targets.

Yep I like my Glock 23 and my Glock 19 both are simple and shoot nice

For my range toy I have a Sig p228 and a Beretta 92fs they are fun but a little more complicated with the single action to double action trigger and the decocker

If you want a home defense gun get yourself a Remington 870 and forget about it hahaha

Give me a call when you want to go shooting.

Nope. Been wanting to start for years and finally decided to just go for it.

There used to be local clubs or sporting goods store that offers free reloading clinics. You can do a search at calguns.net. Youtube also has several tutorial videos for reloading.

A few other things that you may need...scale, tumbler, caliper and a bullet puller

Buy a manual and read it I like the lyman's 47th Edition. I know it's dry but read the first hundred Pages or so the fingers you save may be your own

It seem pretty simple. I'm stocked up on the basics ..but low on the less common stuff ( 458 socom, 5.7,50 ae and a few others )

There's a statement in there that says you'll be allowed to purchase ammo 1 time within a 30 day period.
Does that mean you can only purchase ammo once a month? I wonder if there's a limit on how much ammo you can purchase during that 1 time?
