anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

another pump thats loud here...
with nothing running in the house but the tank, i can hear this pump in the other room easily. sounds like im getting a hearing test at work! i have it in else mode. since i have a coast to coast overflow, is it safe to place the outside magnet in my overflow box? i ask because people state running the pump in an angle using the holder it helps with the noise.

Well, thus far the flow is as I was hoping for...A LOT!
Not as "wide" as the MP40 in the tank, but every bit as much. Used it to "clean off" my live rock before a water change yesterday. Now I just have to find a placement and angle that makes me happy.
Oh yeah, and I have to order 2 more

I received mine today. I have a 75 mixed reef with sps and lps. This pump so far is amazing. I took out my 2 other power heads and am only running this with sicce 4.0 return. My corals look great woth good polyp extension on all sps. Also this pump on my tank is completely silent. Only thing that happened bad was my fish were freaked out for a little but after a couple hours were good.

Hopefully this pump keeps its durability . So far im glad i tried this before buyijg an mp40

Are you going to use it to dim lights? If so, get the one that works with your lights.

It's so easy for them to do a upgrade like that, they'd be crazy not to! I see it happening as soon as they sell off the existing inventory of completed pumps and extra controllers in their inventory and the inventory of whoever is making them for Jebao. Maybe even about the same time they introduce the WP25. Maybe they will offer some new controllers as an after market upgrade?

You mean else mode? It's similar to the vortech reef crest mode.

It adjusts the length of the pulses before they change. Higher dial setting means longer pulses and results in stronger waves.

Actually, I think most people end up running in else mode, just like most vortech users end up in reefcrest mode. I am just running on L for now until I get my RA all setup so I can dial them back. My MP40 is still providing the random flow.

That's good, I thought the wp40 would be too strong so I also ordered the universal power supply, but I thinks this is perfect amount honestly

Stock voltage is fine for everything except W1, which is too choppy at any voltage.
