I'm assuming that the fact that you have seen my tank and postings, and then ask my opinion is a compliment? There are some on RC who would question that!
Two WP40, even dialed down with a variable output controller at 15V is moving about 2100-2200gph (done by math not measurement). Two of them in a 120g is quite a bit. Remember, it's a more focused flow than an MP40. I have 1 in my 180g and I'm not getting a second one. I'm waiting to see the specs on the WP25 due out in May (I've heard). I'd recommend you hold off until then too. I'm assuming (I know, I know a** of u and me) that it will still be quite powerful (would like to see 2000gph), may be a bit better made (things learned from selling WP40's), will cost less, will be smaller (the WP40 is big) and maybe they even offer speed control built in. Sure I'm asking a lot, but I can dream for a couple of months and then be disappointed by the lack of Chinese innovation and response to market desires, right!
Hey ron your tank is awesome, love the large colonies. I was just in cape coral for my cousines wedding. Beautiful place wish i lived down there, anyways i visited aquarium reef center (both locations) and was ready to stock my carry on bag with corals lol. So i guess jebo made there pumps to powerful. I made this mistake already by putting a 3200 gph korlia in my tank. Its way to powerful even being on a timer. I was alsO interested in jebos wavebox for $185 but i am scared it will overflow at its lowest. I think i might just go for 1 wp-40 since im looking to add sps exclusively now. All i have in my 120 is a 17"" toadstool, 10" derasa clam, 6" hammer,12" anthelia rock to be worried about. I figure these corala can benefit from the under current and the sps can gret stronger current. Will post pics and let u kno how it goes
BTW, I do appreciate your kind opinion me. I just do the best job I can.
