anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Any chance these can RKL controlable? I mean if soneone can make a wire harness I smell a money making machine here :) Seriously though I am not electrically inclined so I would be happy to pay for a pair to get the RKL controlled.

The Reef Angel harness would work with it.

There is no way I can use 2 pumps in a synchronized wave mode in my 125 at 0% to 100% intensity. I have 1 pump going from 30% to 100% and its making a pretty big wave.

Type: pump
Minimum Intensity: 30
Maximum Intensity: 100
Sync: Enabled
Divide-by 10: Enabled
Initial off time: 4
On time: 8
Off time: 0

SUCCESS!

The module Floyd used DOES work with the Apex 100%. FINALLY! The module HAS to have 0-10v control.

The original controller modes are retained too as thought. For instance, I can turn on ELSE mode for its randomness, and just vary the intensity throughout the day. Feed mode can be assigned like usual for the Apex.

If you leave it on H mode, you can start/stop the pump with your own wavemaking action that you program in, run the pump at any intensity you desire, or best yet, sync 2 pumps with 2 of these modules.

I can take pics and make a tutorial later, but I want to play around more.

That's great news. Mine arrived today...the shipping is pretty quick! I will be looking forward to the mod instructions with great anticipation!

No its fairly noisy.. All the modes the on/off drone is annoying.

I love how the other guy said.. "really mines quiet"
and then we find out hes only run it in "L" low mode. :uhoh3:

yeah that noise is fine.. but anything else is annoying.
The sound transfers right through the mount and resonates on the glass.

I'll probably mess around with the mount/some pads,etc.. and see if it gets better. If I just hold it in the tank its not "that bad"

Mine are quiet and I run on w1

Soooo any chance someone can make a couple of harnesses and ill gladly pay them for their time and effort? :)

Just got a email, as I wanted to cancelle my WP40 and go with 2 WP25's and asked if they were coming out anytime soon, and they responded back, no news to when the WP25's will be released

So I replied to just send out the WP40 then

I made some profiles for ELSE mode.

Instead of choosing a pump profile, choose a ramp profile.

Ex.

AM-WP40
Ramp time: 1
Start intensity: 60
End intensity: 60

DAY-WP40
Ramp time: 1
Start intensity: 90
End intensity: 90

PM-WP40
Ramp time: 1
Start intensity: 45
End intensity: 45

I'll post more outlets and profiles tomorrow. I want to make a virtual outlet that I turn on and off to switch between else mode settings and wave settings, but I don't know how yet.

I refuse to run a synced wave between these 2 pumps at more than 60 percent without being around, because I feel like I'll lose half the water in my tank. It'll be pretty crazy when that second module shows up in a few days.

If the guys at Reef Angel get crazy with coding. I might switch from an apex to Reef Angel.

I'm no amazing coder but it seems like anything is possible, not only what the developers can do, but the community has solved problems and come up with their own solutions as well. For example, I think it was a community member who helped write the iPhone app and interface for their desktop application - some have even experimented with water sensors and 3rd party touchscreen lcds. Since its open source, idea generation is the only limitation....never used an apex so I'm not sure how customizable it is

i just ordered 2 of these and im planning on ordering RA anyways so what do i got to lose or gain because i have 5 mp40s i could sale if i like them

Anyone having problems with the light sensor working right? Mine will work fine if you have the lights on and you cover the sensor with your finger; but if you actually ually turn the lights off it flips to night mode then goes back to regular mode....???
