I obtained this coral as a small fragment from a LFS in Ohio back in 2006. The local hobbyists in my area (Ohio, Indiana and N. Kentucky) always rave about this coral when they see it in person. It is by far my most favorite acro in my 400g SPS system. Here are a few recent pictures ...

The coral was photographed under 14K Ushio 400 watt halides with Icecap ballasts....I do not use supplemental lighting on my system.

It is very uncommon and rare. The colors really pop when you see this acro in person.

Thanks for the compliment, JAustin! I have been following Sanjay Joshi's threads for years. He is a big inspiration. I also use the same Lumenarc III reflectors that Sanjay uses as well.

Ive seen some like this before but NEVER with that bright of a orange color. Alot of growing tips too, nice. I just swithched to the ushio 14's on 400w. pfo hqis, great color and bright. I wish I would have made it to daytons swap.
