Rough it in with a dremel, and smooth out any rough edges with some wet/dry sandpaper.

Sorry, I guess I wanted to know how to mount it to the skimmer body. I just got one and it does not seem to match up.

I will pull mine this weekend and snap a picture or two. I am now using the red demon impellar on my Sicce 2500. I moded it and was using the Sedra as a recycle pump. I have pulled it and plugged my extra holes with uniseals and plugs.

mesh mod

im looking to do the mesh mod on my G2. I went to lowes today and tried to explain to the guy what i was looking for. He was clueless and i had nothing else to go with. So the question is what is the name of the mesh that im looking for and what department would it be in at a hardware store.

enkemat. MY LFS sells it and I bought some on ebay.

I've not been happy with the G3 despite the mesh mod. I replaced it with an Itech today. Question is should I keep the G3 for back up or for future use or sell it????

I think this might be my first or second post here on RC and wow, do I love it. I fell into 3reef a while back and have been posting over there.

Anyhow, I wanted to mod my G-1 with the mesh impeller. I went to Lowe's because we don't have a Home Depot here...all I could find were some 3M stripping pads. One was about 7/8" thick and blue and the other about 5/16" thick and green. Is either one of these the correct ones?

I have the asm g2 and it started to produce micro-bubbles. i have cleaned the sponge on the skimmer, the pump, the collection cup, and the sock. What could be causing this to happen.

I cracked the cone part at the top of the body of my G4+. Need replacement ASAP. Can anyone tell me where I can get that part ? In Canada would be best, but I could bring it in from the US.

ok I read all 900 pages and found little about sicce, I have a G2 and just bought a sicce psk 2500 i'll postpics of what i end up with. had a 3500 mesh mod and changing to stock sicce. CHEERS, TONY

hey yall, i have a g2 and im looking for info on the mesh and recirc mods....i went to asmskimmer.com and it only had info on the gate valve...where can i find a "how to" for the other two mods
