ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Any words on the iPad app or apex control for this unit? That's my deciding factor on this unit. Also how do I subscribe to this thread?

So my light is still 'broken'

When running, (especially prevalent during the day preview mode), the LED clusters will just turn off and on in random orders and at random times, almost like a flicker. Also when I re-upload the program to the light, the T5s (especially the 4 outer ones) will turn on even when set to 0%?

I've performed a factory reset and re-uploaded my program to the light as recommended by the supplier - but it's still broken.

Any help / advice other than send it back?

Cheers

Anthony

I have a two buld T5 light from Home Depot
Is it ok to use this to burn in bulbs?
This way I can burn them in without messing with my hybrid.

Thanks

contact ATI support, you likely have a defective controller box like I did

I will do, cheers.

Here's my graph right now, running in the T5s at 100% to burn them in, but on a very limited photoperiod so as to not shock the corals, having swapped from 2 x Kessil A360WEs to this unit

And a quick photo of one of my SSC which looks so much better under the Hybrid

It is my understanding that burning in bulds requires 50 hours of continuously on at 100%

Hi,

I am sorry if this has already been answered, but I am having trouble with the programming software. I just bought an ati powermodule. It is on with all bulbs working. I have it connected to my computer and have the ati software installed on my computer. However, only the USB indicator in the upper right corner of the screen is on - not the lamp indicator.

Does anyone have advice for me? My sps like the new light, but I am not sure what the mfg preset is.

I did notice above that someone was asking about windows 10, I am running windows 10. Does that matter?

Thank you in advance for any comments.

Day 3 here of a4 x led 8 x 80 watts and got a confirmation that windows 10 has got no compatibility with the unit. I went to buy a laptop after I was told that it was fine as I am a Mac user.. they send me the link for a Beta version of software, but it did not work.. manually programming the lights.. awesome kit.. still not sure about settings but it's so powerful it's terrifying nice

I disconnected my light today to change a tube and now when reconnected the led doesn't work, the display says the led are 6320 degrees! The led fans are not on either

How do I do a reset?

Can anyone tell me how I can find the weight of an 8x80w powermodule hybrid? I'm trying to find an appropriately sized electronic winch system to mount mine on

i am not sure what exact weight of the unit , but i can tell you its heavy...maybe call ATI USA for correct number.. I would say more then 40lbs for sure..

Noticed a few of my SPS are losing their colour in patches - and wondering if my photoperiod is too short on my ATI Hybrid.

It's an 8 bulb 24" model over a 24" x 18" x 18" 30 ish gallon tank - it's replaced 2 x Kessil A360WEs and has been on the tank around 12 days so far.

The Kessils were running a 13 hour photoperiod with a 4 hour peak period maxing out @ 65% intensity (comparing apples and oranges I know).

Here is my graph for the ATI Hybrid :

I also realise it could be many things with regards SPS colour loss (it's not bleaching) such as nutrient levels, parameter swings etc.

Seems like a very short photoperiod. Gradually increase your T5 to 7-8 hours for 4 bulbs and 3 hours for all 8 bulbs. SPS need a lot of light and looks like you are not giving them adequate lighting. That's provided your other parameters are stable.

Your main light period is on the short side. Go ahead and extend the light period. However, have you checked for pests? Are all SPS including monti's stylosphora/hysterix etc all affected? Or just Acropora?
