Just to give you guys a heads up. At somethings fishy on biscayne and 119st they have a baby purple tang, the size of a half dollar. He was eating well when I saw him yesterday. The wife said I couldn't buy him, so maybe one of you guys can.

That's awesome! Do you know how much they were asking?

Thats expensive for a smaller tang i seen the bigger ones 5 or 6 inches for 150 at hyrda the other week. Matter of fact a guy on fmas facebook group randy was selling purple tangs for 60 bucks 2 weeks ago.

It might be pricey but to be honest it was the first baby purple tang that I've seen. Never seen one so small before. Majority of the ones I've seen for sale are about 4"+

I'm sure the wholesaler still charged him for a "medium" size purple tang on his invoice. Shops gotta make its money back some how

I wouldn't be surprised to see purple tangs with invert pricing in the near future. Meaning the smaller the size, the more expensive. It's relatively easy to find healthy larger purple tangs vs. smaller ones. Plus, the smaller ones sell much quicker since they appeal to more hobbyist that don't have large tanks.

Which is not good most tangs need large tanks
