Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say hi. I have been away for quite some time. My wife and I have moved from Rochester and are now living in Fayetteville (just east of Syracuse). New job and new house. The move was just a bummer. We moved in that series of snowstorms in Dec. In any case, I just wanted to drop a note that I'm back in business.

Welcome back Greg! Fayetteville is a gorgeous area. Glad you made it through the snow. Now we would like to officially welcome you to CNY with the foot or two of snow some spots are getting today...lol.

Hey Greg, glad to see you back! Happy to welcome you to the 315er family. Having just moved myself, IT BLOWS! Hope to cross paths at some point in the future. Keep us posted on your tank progress.

Any plans for your tank? New one? Same one? etc...

Hi Everyone,
Thanks. Yes. I did move my 4tanks in that crazy set of storms. The freshwater tanks went first in a series of two trips. The movers packed and successfully moved the 110G, and 55G tanks. We moved about 100 of my freshwater fish and managed to not kill any in the cold weather. I gave Scott a number of the labidochromis that I had raised. I still have about 30 of those left if anyone in the Fayetteville area wants any. All of my large stock survived including the 8" bala sharks and tin foil barbs.

The saltwater tank went last --- in part because of the fear of doing it in cold weather. That said, I had picked up five of the 9gallon barrels from needabarrel and moved all of the water and stock in the car. The tanks is now setup but I'm still trying to get the water parameters back in order. I lost a few things... but not the minor red algae problem I'm battling.

If I can find everything, I'll be starting on the DIY LED fixture I had been preparing to build.

Yes, I am glad ABC is not to far from work. But I will say this, it is not the same as having several quality stores within 15min like in Rochester.

Thanks again,
-Greg
