D; I've seen many colors (I know you have too) but any sort of deep purple (if that isn't actinics screwing me up) is very rare. I had a sebae that color; never a Mag. I do know what you are referencing with the mauves but I'd be a little upset if it came in light purple considering the pic.
No sir Minh I checked in at 345 ish and they weren't there yet and were gone at 530 our time. Usually IME if you get the posted email u aren't gonna get the rares. [I got a beautiful 1" black tang from a different online retailer. Wild size. There's another in Houston if you have a need(way off topic

I'm not sure if it is rare or not, but I halve one that is a similar coloration...

And don't forget that they can magically get you whatever color nem you want, provided you pay for it and give them 4 weeks. You also can call it a cool name, like "lemon drop gigantea" aka bleached green gig.

Lets switch gears.........
This was sold as a Gigantae in around 3-4 minutes, literally. I had it rdy to be paid for at a whopping $700, and I just kept going to the picture and back to the cart, till it was too late. It's got some characteristics that scream Haddoni but also a few outliers that are hard to reconcile. Plus it's a LA buy and normally their id's are solid.

Here's the update you've been waiting for. I received the mag and put it straight in to qt with water from the dt. I don't know how else to describe it, but after keeping nems for a long time you know when they don't look right. I can only describe it as not "firm" enough (when they have that wrinkly look underneath). So I opted to start a cipro treatment the very first night. Sure enough it released the black balls we've all seen before. I completed treatment and left it in qt for about a week just to observe it. Reason for this is the water change water I was using came from a tank with a Gigantea in it and I wanted to see if there was going to be any adverse reaction. So far they're doing well together and I haven't noticed any change in appearance to either one of them. So here's the pics. First one is when I got it, second one is recent (sorry the only camera I have is an iphone). It's hard to get a pic of the column, but I'll try later on. I'm really not sure what color it's going to end up (the column) because it's red, but I also see streaks of brown/beige at times.
