And yes, mine is very, very forgiving. I would say as easy, if not, easier than a BTA. Once it's happy, mine stays put and doesn't need much.

It's not rare, has a wide geographical distribution range, is no more difficult to collect then any other species of clownfish hosting carpet anemone. And those colors are so blown...well if you like allot of blue lighting on your tanks...

Iirc, Phender said (i never had one of them), that they are about as easy to keep as a S. haddoni carpet, nothing like the challenge of keeping S. gigantea or H. magnifica the two most difficult anemones.

The only clearly documentation of the outcome of fragging of Mertensii and Haddoni is that both haves end up dead. There are people who claim to have sucessfully frag these anemones, but only claim with no documentaion (at least acceptable documentaion to me)
