BTA finally hosted clowns!!

Had my rose BTA for about 2 weeks and the female FINALLY ventured down into it. Now its funny she can't leave it alone, definitely one of the coolest moments I've had since setting up the tank. BTA isn't really "bubble" tipped, hoping it is still doing alright. After reading through some threads in here seems to me that every one is different. Mouth is tightly closed and hasn't moved spots so must be doing decent. Just had to share the moment with some fellow reefers !

BTA finally hosted clowns!!

They are A. ocellaris tank raised. Goes to show the natural instincts still present!

It certainly is. The instinct exhibits itself faster when there's a natural host present in the tank. If Magnifica and Gigantia anemones were easier to keep and suitable for smaller tanks there would be a much higher rate of anemones hosting ocellaris and Perculas clownfish, tank raised and wild caught alike.

That's good to hear! The shop next to me has a nice frostbite that I thought would look nice with my BTA. If it were to ever host it that is.
