Graf-X brought up a good point, I am down for the buy regardless, but I'm curious if I purchased all my items on my wish list (Vortechs, etc..) would I be able to apply the discount to them as well? Just curious, but if I'm pushing my luck then I'm happy with just getting the discount for the skimmer.

I just realized I haven't even acknowledged you throughout this whole time and this is your thread. Thanks for allowing us to totally hijack your thread! By the way, I love your kitchen, I am gonna redo mine some time next year since I'm building my tank up this year. The company were gonna go with looks similar to your cabinetry...it's called scavolini. What company did you use? Hope you don't mind me asking.

I'm waiting on the second vendor to get back to me. For those of us who are torn between two skimmers, I was told to go with the the lesser in price for now. This was requested by the second vendor.

The first vendor is now offering 20% off and FREE shipping on a minimum of 15 orders. On an order up to 10, it's 15% off, FREE shipping and 5% off shopping on future orders. He carries over 1000 items and has access to over 6000.

I'm still waiting on details for the two potential orders to Canada.

No Worries. lol. I don't remember who our cabinet maker is. It was one of those situations where we pointed to the cabinets that we liked "We like that one"

Paul, can you confirm that they will be delivering them to our homes? It would be very inefficient not to mention risky and a pain in the *%# to have to reship them from a central location.

My guess is they would ship to your homes. That's why Paul asked for your guys' zip codes

I'm not sure what you guys mean about a central location, etc.? But from my understanding, yes, shipping is to your door via UPS Ground. If you want 2-3 Day Air (+$90), etc., then it'll be an additional cost.

Paul, what they're asking is if the BK dealer will ship everyone's (all 17 of them) skimmer to, say your house, at which point they'd have to arrange to have them shipped again to their own homes. I know you wouldn't allow that to happen

Well I just ordered a 200 SM from Aquarium Specialty for my 220 gallon frag tank, I'll post some pics next week when it arrives.
I am happy with my 400 deluxe on my 600g display so I decided to stay with Klaus and get a baby for the frags

What good would that be? Honestly, the thought never dawned on me.

I was worried about being shipped to a central location too. I figured maybe part of the way costs were being saved was by having them drop shipped directly from Germany to, say, a club who would then distribute them locally. Since we're all over the place, that wouldn't make sense. Anyway, glad to hear they will be delivered to our door.

I can't wait to join the club!

A week later, Bart posts a pic of his super-modded, Frankenstein 300 with a half dozen pumps on it. And in the background is a faint image of a cardboard box with spare riser tubes and collection cups n' stuff.
