Bubble Kinng Cone skimmer

I don't think this product has come out yet, or it is not available in the US. It is not carried by any American retailers I am familiar with.

It would be direct competition for the Vertex Alpha Cone skimmer line here, which Royal Exclusiv builds anyways.

ok.I understand
thank you very much ... According to you how vertex alpha cone skimmers.
have some articles...I heard the water level problems vertex skimmers,
Is it really so ?

Hi emrah,
the cones are available in germany through lot of online shops.
The cones are best used for low nutrition tanks like zeo´s.
Prices of the cones went down a little bit ;)

I have used the Vertex Alpha 250 for a couple years now and have never had issues with water levels inside the skimmer. I take it you say you have heard of issues maintaining consistent levels inside the skimmer? That said, you want a consistent water level in the skimmer section of your sump. Mine is powered by a Red Dragon 1500 and operates at a depth of 8.5 inches in my sump.

The 250 has been a true "set and forget" skimmer. Little, if any, adjustment to the wedge pipe is ever needed. Just empty the cup and clean the skimmer neck once in a while. Best skimmer I've ever owned.

I love my Alpha 300 and after 2 years no issues. Its very important with any in sump skimmer that a constant water level in the sump is maintained. Since I have an ATO, my sump level is perfectly consistant. I absolutely love my Alpha. I have have had all kinds of skimmers in my 23+ years of saltwater tanks and this skimmer has been by far the best I have owned. That said, if I were to upgrade, I would most likely go with a bubble king. In your case, that Bubble King you are looking at looks like a great skimmer though I think the Alpha 200 would be a good choice as well as they are made by the same company. The Bubble King will probably be a bit better but I would expect the quality to be very similar to the Alpha. All said and done if money were no object, I would go with a bubble king but either way you cant really go wrong in my opinion.
