Got this from Porko. Thank you Mr. Sandwich.
BTW- Your tank is definitely a zookeepers dream!!!!!
Now I can only hope Mr. X can help me raise my water level!!!!
Looks great Mr President. Like I told you before, "once you're a president, you're always a president." Just like Bill Clinton, George Bush, etc are still called President Clinton, President Bush, etc, but I don't think you get to keep the secret sevice & bodyguards.
Since on another thread ther have been questions, i might as well answer here since this is the current tank. the other thread was from 2008.
OK... update.... The corals where growing out of the water until maybe 8 months ago. Thats when my FULL attention had to go to MACNA 2013.
Most of my SPS started suffering and I could not quicly fiqure out why. Instead of loosing them, since i didnt have the time to fiqure it out, I GAVE them all to one of my friends. He has them in a holding tank and nurturing them. I wiull eventually get frags back and grow them out again.
Regarding microbubbles, i still have them. Im almost sure the culprit is the return line sucking up air just before the water level in the Loc Lines. I already have SeaSwirls ready in my garage to replace the Loc line returns. Hopefully this will resolve.
Bring it back from the grave yard. LOL, your micro-bubble could be more of a pump issue if it's an external. The seals could be pulling in air instead of pushing water out.
Could be RPS. I already installed the SeaSwirls and still have microbubbles.
However for one reason or another i disconnected my skimmer for a day a few days ago, and noticed less. Was in a hurry thought so dont know for sure. Im going to check that out.
By the way the Reeflo is less than 1 year old, and from the beginning ive have micro bubbles. Although i bought reconditioned fro Reeflo with full warranty This could of course be a problem anyways, just not sure how to resolve.
