Build Thread!!: Going from standard 120G to custom 200G

Eddie - If you are still working on this around early evening, I can come and help after work around 6 something. Let me know if you do need anything. :)

STARTED MOVING THING OVER AROUND 11AM. FINISHED AROUND 6PM.

Not bad. O thgought it would have taken longer. Booby, as always, was an AMAZING help.

We had a box for dead stuff, a 40 G breeder with water for stuff to transfer.

We moved things over by placing the bottom LR first and them the huge rocks with corals last. We filled the 40G with rocks that had corals within 15 minutes, LOL.

This is one of them:

After doing that a few times we just arranged and arranged.

A lot of stuff is still on the floor but I will work on over the next few days.

!20 is still running as I have a huge red cap, and majestic angel in there that are for sale.

Im exhausted. Been working on this non stop for 4 days, and STILL have work to do, ie frag tank plumbing etc.....

Herbie overflow is AWESOME. Silent and dependable. You guys should consider when possible.

Once majestic and Huge red cap is out i still have to move the 120 to garage till it sells.

It looks even better in person can't wait till all the corals are in there finale spots
Bring on the softies LOL
Eddie will trade sps for nice zoas lol

Eddie, I have found a tank. I can not do the change like you. The size of the new tank is 24 inches longer and needs to go where the old tank is. I can not run both of them at the same time. So do you have some pointers or do I start selling my corals and start from scratch as we talked about at the FF Draft?

UPDATE

Tank is doing well. No coral mortalities but some are still recovering colors, PE etc... Dont know why temp is as low as mentioned above since set up was same and old tank ranged from 76-82. Is it differnt pump causing this?, dont know.

Not happy with water level being so low. That why Matt and I are trying to bring up the overflow a little, but need a router table.

Wow Eddie, tank looks freaking beautiful!! Wow!!

Definitely much more real estate then from before and I see that you brought zoas out to the DT as well. Nice!!

Looking good Eddie!

Maybe the thickness of the glass and water volume increase has something to do with temp change, but that is a good thing . ( :

Got this from Porko. Thank you Mr. Sandwich.

BTW- Your tank is definitely a zookeepers dream!!!!!

Now I can only hope Mr. X can help me raise my water level!!!!
