dvanacker's 200g SPS tank......

Awesome pics and thank you for the info on the placement.
Nice pics and thanks for the clarification on the stand. Sorry to hear about the loss on the enchinata as I love them and my 20k enchinata is my favorite.
Thanks guys.....it's always nice to get feedback from fellow reefers.

very nice collection, can i be on the waiting list when you start fraging them, or at least point me on the direction were you acquired them.

thanks. I noticed that your tank is looking really good these days too. Isnt nice when things go our way.... as for my source I have collected them from many different places. I will send you a PM about a few when I get a chance.

Great reflective Pic. That yellow Acro is outstanding!
thanks John. I'm feeling like my tank is still behind yours.

Looking good

Nonsense! LOL.. These tanks have minds of their own when it comes to growth, color and overall health. However, there is something unique about them all that make them one of a kind and beautiful.. Your tank looks fantastic! Keep up the great work

You right John. I think maybe what I meant to say is the grass is always greener on the other side...lol. We both have nice tanks....but sometimes it I enjoy seeing other peoples tanks over mine...maybe because we see ours everyday and know all the flaws.

I gotta say though, it feels great when the tank is healthy and colorful. Now if only I can get rid of the cyano and aiptasia I will be a happy happy man.

Amen brother! Mee too! I suffer with both  As I write this, I'm thinking about how I'm going to introduce a copperband that won't get immediately obliterated by my Tangs (Yellow, Sohal, Hippo) in that order.. As for the Cyano, I have recently found that less feeding of frozen food and wetskimming is really helping to keep it at bay!

D, your aquascaping is sick! I really couldn't get a good look from your first fts... This is going be some reef when everything grows in.

Hey dvanacker!

Your tank looks amazing!!! Your corals seem to be very healthy and the colors are breathtaking!

I was really sorry to hear about your loss! Hope that you will not have any more problems in the future.

I was impressed about with your wrasse "choerodon fasciatus". Are you facing any problems so far? Is that fish aggressive ?

Could you also tell us the way that you feed your corals? What kind of ingredients do you use ?

Keep up the good work!

Greetings from Greece!

36" gets you lots to play with. I imagined it more open and went back and forth about removing the large center rock that would open up two islands almost but then I would have to get rid of some charished corals. I hope to have the center rock covered with encrusting SPS. Most of my rock are just very large peices of shelf rock (big and flat).

nice progression 8P
thanks

Amazing tank, absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to see my tank at that stage.
thanks. It takes some work but is well worth it. Good luck.

Love the coraliniana!
My personal favorite (right now).

The harleqin tusk wrasse is a great fish but does go after snails that have flipped over or shrimp for that matter. That said, I still do use snails and have some in the tank over a year old that he hasnt eaten. His aggression towards other fish isnt all that bad...I added a flame hawk and the wrasse only bugged him mildly for the first week. I used to have a 6-line and it would kill a lot of fish I tried to add.

I feed my corals probably every other night, about an hour after lights out. I use one capful of Nurta-kol reef complete, or just stick part of a frozen cyclopeeze bar in the tank for 10 seconds.

I feed my fish once per day using either one or two of the following.

Frozen PE mysis
Nori
Omega One Flake
New Life Spectrum Flake

thanks for the kind complements Teo.

Looks like Scrips Milli to me. I have 2 frags made from one but I am waiting for it to get its blue tips back.

Just a short picture update. Things continue to be good. Took a vacation for at the end of november and no one touched the tank for the week...came home and was pleasantly surprised that besides the dirty glass the tank held up really well.

Anyway here is some more pics...mostly frags that I havent photographed before...
