doug pretty much got it...
1. "paletta blue" - pretty rare, my nemesis. poss vermiculata

2. paletta baby blue - the weed coral! fast grower and larger colonies look amazing. tizardi

3. paletta turquoise lovelli - same as that ORA piece, thin branches.

My understanding from the meeting was that we don't want to discourage people from bringing more than 3 of the same kind of coral. The limit is only to qualify for the bonus rounds. That said, we do not need a thousand Kenya trees.

Hey Brian, hope you're bring some of that Paletta Baby Blue (the Weed) to the frag swap because I could use a nicely colored fast grower

Hey Rudy

I'll through a couple in.

I've got 3" long baby blue growth tips right now. The funny thing is that they look better under whiter light, like the flashlights we use at the swap. than my 20K bulbs. The 20K bulbs make the baby blue growth tips look white.

I think I have a frag of radioactive teneus right now encrusting. I'm not 100% positive though. Can someone post a pic of what it looks like?

I'll definately bring that.

How about:
ORA Red Planet
ORA Borealis

Ron
Both are ok.
Red Planet 3/4-1 inch
Borealis 1 inch +

How did you get your red planet to grow so fast????

1 inch+ on the Borealis? Its a pretty slow grower. I bought my Red Planet and Borealis at the same time, and my RP has growen 4X or better more then the Borealis.

Chris, how big is yours now? I think we got ours about the same time. My tank must have something in the water...LOL.

Here's a pic of the frag I have. I don't have a macro lense yet so i can't capture the color as good.

What do you guys think?

There's a blue mille, watermelon chalice, teneus is in the middle and also a birdsnest.

Thanks Tim, I could have swore there was a third but thought it was the encrusting one. Good Lookin' out!!

Not sure what you are asking here, are these your corals that you are asking if they are qualifing exceptional frags?
If so can you provide the names of them and the lineage?

Thanks

If you do not no the lineage of that piece it is hard to say.
LMK if you know for sure thats what it is and were you got it from.
Thanks

they are an unnamed red zoanthid colony that i purchased from a lfs more than 8 months ago and are growing steadily. about two months ago, they suffered from one bout of zoa pox which i treated with furan 2 twice over two weeks. they are fully recovered and growing again.

they are kept on the sandbed under 250w mh 12k reeflux bulbs. they have always kept their color and the picture is accurate.

thank you for your consideration.

glee's zoas are probably these at coralpedia
I have the same and I got them at the last swap as a raffle prize. It was from one of the LFS as part of a softie pack. I hope you would consider them, but I doubt their really rare.
