gasman's059 new build!

It is a very cool skimmer, it was a super simple setup as well. You can even play a game of cards on the top of the collection cup.

How about some pics
It does not matter whcih thread they are on!
cmon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I disagree Mostro needs his own thread with updated pictures of the tank.

Manny, when do you get the stand back?

I think I will open a thread, I just got so involved in getting this skimmer in the sump that in the process I had to empty the entire cabinet and take apart the pump connections, I liked how the cabinet looked empty and decided to re-organized all the wiring that were done sloppy and connect some other gadgets that have been collecting dust while waiting to be install. I'll tell you one thing, it is coming along very nice.

As good as I can do- no google sketch skills.

I'm pretty much sold on this design( perhaps the skimmer on the second chamber dunno yet!) plus a row of probe holders in the back middle wall- not ilustrated in my masteful pics.

You need to take those sketches to eco-reef because they have someone that makes some amazing sumps. Probe holders, bubble traps with little peices of acrylic to hold eggcrate between baffles, and alot more.

Besides that it looks like an amazing setup in the works.

Matt I'm not quite sold on the design yet.

The skimmer position may change since the BK skimmers are quite sensitive to detritus into their venturi's and may be problematic on the first chamber w/o filter socks.

Still waiting on some sketching from the democrat to perhaps copy his sump design- if it works don't fix it right.

As far as ECO yes its an option as well as other acrylic makers.
