Whats the difference between that and a TLF?

Same principle better quality.

A fluidized chemical reactor is the most efficient way to use chemical filtration.

Honda and mercedes are cars but they are not built the same way. ;)

I say there are two main differences, first is the size, the deltec unit is about three times the size of the TLF, which allows you to place more media and use it as a fluidize filter, preventing the media from being compacted and start channeling.
Second, is the way this two reactors open to be refill or clean, the Deltec has a twist lock with a rubber o-ring, the TLF has screws that use to make me drag every time I hd to change the media, I believe that the TLF is now available with a twist lock too, but not sure.
Other that they are both the same principle.

Makes sense for bigger tanks, but yes, the TLF is a twist lock with an o-ring now.
