How rare is this?

I will be in Australia this September but sadly I will not be in Darwin

If you have any suggestions on area's to visit please let me know.

I will be in:
Townsville for a week

I'm sure you'll want to see the real thing, but I think I remember seeing an public aquarium in Townsville?

EDIT: actually here's a link to the web site http://www.reefhq.com.au/

Lewy, bravo good sir on this thread. Love the pics and see nature as it is. Please continue this thread and updating us with these nice pics.

BTW- I love your cube tank.

amazing pics. I would love to visit Australia one day. I appriciate that you are not collecting the clowns. They are rare and need to stay in the wild for a while.

So since you get to take stuff right from the wild. how many of the things you collect. have bugs or other nasties on them.are the fish full of parasites. or does all these nasties something that is more on the hobbyist side of it trading them around and such.

We only take small frags. No problems with nasties. Apart from mantis shrimp etc.

The LR is as fresh as you can get obviously.

IMHO all the disease that you see if definitely from the stresses of collection, storage in confined spaces, travel etc. Not akin to us packed like sardines in planes.

The butterflies and scribbled angels that Azumi and his mate have collected eat almost straight away and are hand fed now. They are the fattest butterflies that I have ever seen.
