I got a fever! bowhunter support group needed!

I was sitting in my buddy's stand yesterday am. He hasn't seen anything yet either. I barely had my bow in my hand at sun up and had a 6pt at 10 yds. If it was a doe I'd have shot but I didn't feel right about taking a Buck com his stand especially since I blew it the other night.

Heading back to my spot tonight. I wanted to let it chill for a few days after tearing it up Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Did rain so scent shout be gone. Might try some estrus wicks.

Had a 4pntr walk under me yesterday morning and then shot high on a coyote...completely missed it.

I got in woods late this morning to find a 6 tending a doe.

Upended a whole bottle of North Country Doe Estrous in a 75yd diameter around stand...we shall c!

I've had 4 deer in this am. Looked to be all bucks following a trail. Only had a shot at one and shot just over his back. 30 yards out.

Not this am. They were there before daylight 5 min after I got in stand. Luckily they stayed until legal light. Guess I'm doing some shooting off my garage at lunch.

I passed on a small doe standing 15 yards broadside last night. I think it was a small year and a half old. I'll probably regret not taking the shot, but it's alright.

Ive only seen the one spike and a button buck that I thought was a doe until he tried busting a move on some does I was watching.

Im ready for this week and cant wait.

My boys aren't seeing anything AT ALL in the woods. They have stands in three locations and have hunted in the AM and PM. We figured before the storm we never had, that the deer would be on the move the evening before. Nope. No luck so far.

I'mon stand for the evening. Some a-holes a few fields away are shooting the place up like its Mogadishu. Apparently they've never heard of the rut. Why not practice shooting in the deer woods. I think they finally stopped. Didn't even see a squirrel for an hour there. Good luck tonight all

Well nothing but squirrels tonight. Don't know when I'll get out again.....maybe all week since I'm on vacation!

Nothing tonight either. Locked my climber to the tree, back in it in the am. Replaying Wednesday nights shot and events in my head over and over and over and over.......

Yeah I'm doing the same thing from this morning. All I can see is my lumenock going over his back. Did I rush the shot? Did i practice enough? Plus plenty of other questions

In a rush for the late afternoon hunt, forgot my gloves and release.Had 3 in broadside shooting distance and everytime I tried to draw ,the arrow would swing left off the rest .Made all this racket trying to swing it back and draw.clickty clacnk

Dam is it tough to pull a 70lb bow back with your frozen fingers.Yeah so, by the time I looked through the peep they were all looking dead at me with tails up.Gone in 2 seconds flat.
Hopefully tomarrow morning I can redeem myself.
Anything to report from you guys?
