Looks great!

thanks

Nick

Thanks everyone for the compliments :D

I got the yellow tort from a LFS and have no source info except it was rare and only a 1st gen coral.

Fish list is a PBT, 2 bangi cardinals, 3 lubbuci wrasses and 2 bi color anthias.Oh and 1 orange linka.

IYO, you have gotten a nice balance of growth and color from the pheonix's? I can see the color is nice, but looking back over the months you see the growth?

Nice tank. How do you keep the back glass so clean (very little coralline algae)? The blue background really makes the corals stand out.

I have gotten great colors and growth is awesome . I have had many things quadruple in size with a few caps going from small pieces to simi large plates. Really I don't want things to grow any faster than they do already. Even the lps grow quick especially the echnos.

Thanks!

Really I dont do much every month or so I get the few spots that show up but I believe my close to 1000 watts over the tank keeps it at bay . That and I think blue attracts corraline less. I also have a 500+ snail crew working hard all the time. I just knocked them all off for the pics.

I too love my blue . I wouldn't trade it for black ever. I get more of a tropical look and adds that nice blue tint to the water. Its hard to tell sometime that there is even water in the tank

Chris .... Your tank sucks! LOL. I am still working on mine I cant wait to get water in it. I just got finished with plumbing the basement and building the stand for the sumps. I MIGHT have a leak test next weekend. Then I have to build the canopy and hang the lights. The work never ends. I'm glad to see your tank doing well.

The tank is even better in person.

That yellow tort with purple polyps might be the coolest coral I have ever seen. PLEASE remember me when you can get a frag. ;-)

Good to hear from you . I was talking to Art and he said you were moving along. I kinda miss the tinkiering ,building and upgrading but it all done and I have a 300-600 gallon being worked on in my mind. I want to do it Steve Weast style :).

When the time comes and you are ready for sps again LMK.

Any problems with the wrasses and lack of sand?

do you have a sand box in the back , like DaveWombat?

My wrasses sleep in their own little cuby holes with in the rockwork. They have done fine since day 1.

I have been tring to track its line but have never seen one like it anywhere . Oddly it looks to be on a ORA plug ?But ORA has no info or so they say . The only info was that it was a fist round ACTR frag.

Its been a while you need to come by sometime :)
