I-Tech Skimmer Club .

Thats sad to hear, I've had the 400 since 09 and feel that it has been the best investment i ever made. I was looking forward to a 400 with the internal pump.

I live in tampa, where itechs are made, and i've actually heard that they are about to be back and in full swing

I hope so. I love my 200 and would like to go 400 if I upgrade. One reason I haven't upgraded tanks is cus I can't get my hands on a 400

Good to hear it. John is a great guy and I'm sure he will be looking to make the new version of the i-tech even better than the earlier versions.

Hello,

I email John yesterday wanting to buy XL skimmer for my system and was told by John that they are no longer for sale:(

What depth are 100 owners running at w the Tunze internal pump set up? Just curious. I've played around a bit between 6 3/4 and 7 1/2 inches. Seems like a little deeper is better.

They aren't available at this time. What I heard was due to the economy one of his providers closed its door leaving him without a source for Part "X". As I understand it he has found a new provider but it is tied up with all the legal mumbo-jumbo.

I would assume if the paperwork gets completed today it wouldn't go into production for at least 60-90 days as he has to get the sample part, test it and then put in for the production run of Part "X".

I'm sure John won't say much until he has something legally binding because he doesn't want to get anyone's hopes up in case it falls through.

My i-Tech 100 is freakin awesome. Been a great skimmer especially considering price to performance.

Hope John can get things going again so more people can get their hands on these skimmers.

I do as well, I want to put a reservation on one right now if I could. Aquarium and Sump will be done by the end of April and I'm only waiting on the stand and I can start my new build up.
