I-Tech Skimmer Club .

Reminds me of the old Bill Cosby standup hbo special, "Himself". He talks about their first child and showing off the poop. lol

Thanks for your feedback Chris. Whe you say the 100 smoked all of them do you mean it smoked the 200 also??? Why do you HIGHLY recommend the 100 and not the 200? I have a 90+20 system now but foresee going up to a 120+x within 2 years. I would rather overskim a bit than underskim a bit and I want this next skimmer to be my last...

Thanks!

I think what he is saying and what I have believed for awhile now is the 100 is a great skimmer though it probably would not out skim a 200, but pound for pound it's better if this makes sense.

well guys and gays i get my 200 model and i have as of today ordered the tunze hydro 9240 so i should have that by wednesday. So now i have the complete system.

hey guys got my 200 today man this a great looking skimmer my tunze pump won't be here till wednesday.

now for the outlet pipe should it be under water or half and half?

Depending on water level in sump, mine is at 6 1/2 to 7", exit is above the water level. I bought and installed this elbow per John's suggestion to eliminate 'splash' sound. It does not effect performance of my 200.

mine is about half under water. I put a pvc elbow and pipe to direct the flow towards the baffles and under water to decrease any splashing and send the clean water back to the dt.

while waiting for wednesday for delivery of my tunze, i hookup a sicce psk 2500 with a mesh and wow this skimmer is awesome, this was a great purchase!!!

I've never used the sicce but I guess with mesh mode it suppose to draw more air than the tunze, while tunze suppose to be more consistent and quiet. Let us know your impression once you connect the tunze pump.

got darn it need new batteries for the camera but the system is running great with the sicce pump with the meshwheel, but wed i will have the tunze. will keep you posted.

Update, i got the new tunze hydrofoamer wednesday got it install, once i got it dial in the system is running perfect. The diffence between the tunze and the sicce is that the tunze is absoultely quiet i can't head the skimmer running. Now with the sicce pump it had a nice sound to it when you made adjustment with the standpipe almost like a jet engine, i believe the performance is equal, but i will take the tunze for being quiet.

I recently setup my 400 with two tunze pumps in approx. 6"-7" of water.started skimming right away, only problem is that with both pumps on it quickly over flows. I tried to raise the skimmer higher but am limited in headroom and the most I can do is about 6" of water. I tried to just use one pump the tunze 9420 and close off the water a bit and that seems to work but I need to close off the other hole. does anyone have any suggestions? I will post in the i-tech forums maybe I can remedy the situation quick.
