Jebao Cross Flow Pump

You have to think the reason coralvue STILL hasn't released the long overdue xf170 is because they don't want to release another version with so many issues...
I wasn't aware that Coralvue was making the XF170 for Maxspect. Just an FYI to that, when it comes to making multiple sizes of devices like this, it isn't as simple as just scaling it up, making molds, and putting to market. There are very different tolerances and different motors and electronics to deal with and it is just not a simple or fast process unless you don't care how many of them get destroyed by normal use.

This was their original plan:

XF130: 30-35w*(not yet finalized), to be available in early January 2015.
XF150: 50w Available*NOW
XF170: 70-75w*(not yet finalized), to be available in Q1/2015

Perhaps they gave up on the 70+ watt model all together now...? Must be a reason for that too...

Nope, they're still going forward with it (though the name is the XF180 now), in addition to the monster Gyre that is meant for giant public aquaria.

The wp series is at least 2.5 years old. I distinctly remember having one summer of 2013. I think they were around for a couple months before I bought one.

I'm with you. My tank is run entirely with jebao gear and I haven't had one thing fail in over 2 years. Running 2 dc12000 pumps and 2 rw15. And the doser pump. All 5 pieces cost about the same as 1 ecotech pump.

Sad that all these people have by negatively influenced by people on this board who are probably employed by these company in some type of way.

Trust me when i say there are marking divisions of these companies that focus on spreading Misinformation about Jabeo on these boards. I would not doubt it if it was some of our top posters on this thread.

Clearly I do not work for Jabeo. Just my honest opinion. Not to mention Almost all of my friends with reefing gear have full tanks of Jabeo products.

Where else could you buy a fully programmable app controlled wave maker for 100 dollars? (speaking of the RW 15 unit)

http://www.fish-street.com/aqualink_s1_wifi_jebao_adapter

BTW Aqualink S1 is awesome. i will be posting my review soon.

I have scheduled schedules for my RW series pumps no more controllers. No need for an APEX and additional adapter cords.

No misinformation here. I've used the jabeos for a short period of time while they actually worked. Waste of money for people that like reliability and customer service. If you want to buy cheap stuff, buy hydor.

What's sad is because these pumps don't fit my application, I am being accused of working for a competitor. I don't. I'm a chef at a restaurant in Ohio. I never once said the pumps don't work I said they don't work for me because my tank is eurobraced and I didn't want wires hanging from the top of my tank. Trying to keep a clean look is all. I have owned Tunze as well and the customer service I got from roger was better than just about anything I ever got from a product 10 years old before. It was unreal how awesome he handled the question I had on a product that was no longer being made.
That is what I said. So no I don't work for a competitor...I plate amazing looking and tasting food for a living....sorry to disappoint and at one time ask a question and provide my insight on the pump in this thread.
:(

So were giveing false info when we have used jebao and have had bad luck with them? You actually do sound like you work for jebao, all but one of your posts just reccomend buying jebao.

So...

Vortec Mp60
Cost $675.00

Breakdown:
Product cost - $100
Support + brand name fees - $575

Jebao RW20
Cost $100

Breakdown:
Product cost - $100
Support + brand name fees - priceless

meh... wp25 running great since launch, dc6000 running great since launch. All apex controlled. Also have a tunze 6095 as well

There are people who have good and bad experiences with each line, im not commenting on that specifically. I dont have a dog in the fight as i have had both jabeo and name brand products, but you are what we call a "shill". I took a look at your posts and you have 23 posts in several years w/ almost each one pushing the chinese products (possibly for fish-street or jebao directly). You have not contributed anything do discussions other than saying that chinese products work and the more expensive products are priced due to corporate greed.

I doubt i have my purchace order as i bought mine as a group buy when they 1st came out. 2 wp40's and 2 wp25's. My wp 40's the controllers went out so i replaced them and after 6 months the pump was shot, the power adaptor died on both. The wp25's i still have only because ive only used them a couple of times but keep them for backup's if ever i need them. Yet my tunze's have been running for 11 years strong so if they do ever die i will use the wp's until the new tunze's come in.

Yes people have had good and bad luck with jebao, im one that has had bad luck so i share my experience, ive even used jebao's on my dad's tank with same results.

Never had good luck with Hydor Korallias except for their nano. Have Tunze and Sicce and always liked them. Have two Rw15s and like them too. They work. Haven't broken down and tried a Vortech yet but might one day. It's all personal preference and what your trying to do. The new WAVs from Neptune look good too.
