Jebao Cross Flow Pump

I had no idea anything on that scale existed. Wow, 39000gph. It would take 5 RW-20's at ~ $500 to do that.

JRP, you need to be fair about this. You'll likely have to add some type of a controller into the equation to get everything in sync. So you're probably talking another $600 or so.

That pump actually makes more sense for the price than $650 for an MP60...

There really isn't more than one or two pumps that'll do that...

Meh, I don't sync my RW-4's. Wonder what 5 RW-20's would be like in the 125gal I'm building...hmm. Also, not sure what 'punchy' means. I was just making an observation.

Right if it was free what would we do different. I don't know the original posters full intentions of posting he question but mine is this. I don't own Jabeo. Point blank. They don't fit my application as I have eurobraced tank and wanted no wires on the top of the tank. So I traded my used tunzes for used vortechs. Most likely tunzes and vortechs last longer and perform better. But that doesn't mean Jabeo doesn't work. They have a higher failure rate of course. But very few ppl post positive feedback on any product so the numbers might be skewed. They use cheaper parts to achieve a price point. Luckily no one has had a house burn down to my knowledge. But pricy things can fail too.
So often these breads turn into a my product is better because it cost more or you are an idiot for spending that much $$ on a pump. But neither is necessarily true, everyone has a value in their mind. I was curious with the question who would choose different because they are actually convinced that these pumps are as good as a Tunze or vortech. And maybe they are, I'm not an owner nor a basher.
Was just for fun to break the fighting.

Has anyone confirmed the shipping to America yet??

By the way - I wasn't kidding - that is an AWESOME pump. I'd totally use it in my new install if I could get some for free. Check out the youtube videos - absolutely impressive.

but still overpriced - for me. :D

I think 5 RW 20's in a 125 gallon would create a "surge tank" device.

JRP I also understand the affordability of these things. Some of this stuff is crazy priced. Like I said luckily I got mine used via a trade. :).

I'm a fan of what most people would consider WAY too much flow. Most people scoff at my 2 RW-4's in my 29gal, but holy crap. If you've got a big enough tank to require one of those, I doubt $3300 is going to hurt that bad.

I have one RW20 in a 470, really puts out a ton of flow. Also have numerous WP40s and 60s in there as well, puts them to shame.

I have two RW15s in our frag tank, and they are nowhere near as strong as the 20.

I have 2 RW-20s and 2 RW-8s in a 450 and can't turn them all the way up without creating a sand storm.

Because we usually design our tanks as big buckets or pools. For real flow, we need to design them as water loops... then...

And the comment:

"why do all those bigger fish look so malnourished?"

I was thinking they couldn't afford fish food after buying those pumps.
