So.. How directional is the flow?
For example, if the output "sheet" of water is 1" thick, how much does it spread out after 4ft of travel? Does it grow to 3", 6" or 12", for example?

I really think you should buy it. I'm waiting for your review before I jumped the gun
I think this might be perfect for a cube. No matter what I do in my cube there is always sandstorm, or not enough flow!

I agree 100%. For those of you who think Jebao is a bad company doing something illegal, fine, we all know your opinion, now please go away and let the rest of us discuss the product we are interested in.
karimwassef, I agree with Seamonster in that you are the guy who needs to buy one of these and give us your review.
I was an early adopter of the WP wave makers and then Jebao improved the brand with the RW line. The WP pumps did have 'issues' and about 35% of mine have failed over 3 years. OK, the price I paid for my enthusiasm.
Then I was an early adopter for the Jebao line of DC pumps and they later improved those with the DCT line. Dang, missed out on the improved pump again due to my enthusiasm! Although all 3 of the original DC pumps I have in use have run 24/7 (2 submerged and 1 external) since just after they were introduced.
This time I think I'm going to wait and see if a new version comes out in a year. The WP wave makers I have (the ones that still work) and the DC pumps I have (and they all still work) provide just enough flow to keep me and the reef happy... for now. So I'll try to control my enthusiasm this time and see if gen 1 is good enough or if I need to wait until gen 2 comes out.

Actually, I'm planning a massive flow build in 2017 and I'm in the pump selection phase. My current preference is the WP-60s. The gyre is interesting. But so are a couple of others since my total flow (planned) would be 40,000 gph in a 20' loop.
If I bought every pump I was interested in to test... I'd have a lot of one off pumps
I was looking at the TAAM RIO POLARIO 22ML but it doesn't look like it was a success

Try to stay positive and remove the source of negativity from your life, unsubscribe from the thread.
Not very cryptic. However since you don't understand, what he basically means to say is jebao is know for stealing designs, patented or not, and putting out product without doing (much) of their own r/d. Some people find it tasteless, some don't care. You however seem to take it as a personal challenge and post comments defending jebao practice of stealing ideas.

If posting a review video and being initially impressed, means infatuation to you, then ok, you got me. If correcting false claims of a patent means anything, and pointing out misinformation and potentially unscrupulous behaviour offends you, then I'm afraid I make no apologies.
Without doubt they have copied many aspects of the design (not the same components) , but then look at other companies with their powerhead designs. Bar vortech, not exactly groundbreaking are they? There are not going to be many ways to make a squirrel cage pump and that design of pump was invented in the 1800's for water and gas movement.
Perhaps there should be no other propellor driven powerheads launched by anyone either.
Anyway, still happy with mine bar the current lack of Apex integration.

Here you go, this is approx one level teaspoon of Reefroids mixed with 2 teaspoons of water in a 4x2x2 tank. (I have since adjusted the pumps so that the flow is straight across the tank with increased of surface distortion. It doesn't seem to have negatively impacted the flow in the lower layers of the water column too badly).
Both Cross Flows are on 20% power, W3/Reef Wave mode. Although it's difficult to make out on the video, the reefroids were fully dispersed in all areas of the tank within 15-17 seconds. I'm guessing this would be faster/more effective in Gyre mode.

Glad you cleared that up, im gonna start copying all electronics and just change the size resistor so that i am safe from stealing others designes and r&d
