For those without controllers, how do you adjust the settings on the lights throughout the day?
I don't think you can. Although Kessil is releasing there own for $99 soon.

Correcti have 3 kessils so i need only 2 unit link and 1 connector to apex? am i right?
If you happen to be home all day, or your tank is where you work, you could try and manually use the same cycle we use with our APEX. But that seam like it would be a pain. I would probably just use a timer, find the color I liked, and not worry about messing with them.I meant how do you do it manually? Do you set it to low intensity in the morning and then higher it as the day goes on and then lowering again or do you just turn it on one setting all day and leave it alone until you turn them off?
timer you mean on and off only right? anyways sooner ill get a apex controller and shud be better.
I watched that to. The only thing I would add is if you set the start or end intensity to 0 the lights will not come on or turn off at the time you program. The lights seam to turn off at a intensity of around 12.BRS TV did a nice little segment on programming the ramp profiles for Kessil LEDs with an Apex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxtUcRBn1wU
