jason i will have to be the first to say that you should straighten out one problem before you start another . get the fish in harmony before you go putting another one in the mix . the Kuitier's have been on the wholesale list for months and will continue to be there so slow down and relax just a bit . the feminsus abd lennardi's are on the lists to if you want to do the jones town thing ?

No worries, I don't have plans to move the Kuiter's into the main tank for a while until they are acclimated to aquarium life, my time zone, and the foods I normally feed. Pretty much the same procedure I used for the first three. No more until these get through QT first. I have the patience to do that.

good to hear ,it sounded as though you were planning on a new wrasse every day and that's what i do but i have the space .
happy reefing

Thanks, when the time comes do you think I should just risk it and place the Kuiter's in the main tank with Potter's? Or kind of do a swap. Take the Potter's out into the QT and put the Kuiter's in the DT. Reaquascape, wait a few days, and then place the Potter's back in? Or just reaquascape when the Potter's is burried and place the Kuiter's in?

Smaller bipartitus is back out today and no aggression from the Potter's as normal. Still no sign of the larger one and at this point have no hope to see her again.

i just put a rare hawian cleaner wrasse along with a rhombloid fairy wrasse into my DT today and will be putting an anampsus liniatus ,M Kutier ,royal cleaner, and anampsus twisti ,tommorow so my dt is shaping up pretty well .

yes Jason i will get some shots next week as i won't be using a flash camera for the first few days to a week depending on how they react to their new setting . i will asap though .

Can't wait. I hear you about not taking flash. I don't take any pictures while in QT right now with the leopards and stay away as much as possible. Besides my camera skills are very bad anyway. The pictures I posted on the previous page are about as good as they get.

Here's a video I took before adding a clam, before removing the starry blenny, and before war was declared between the Potter's and Larger bipartitus. Thought I posted it here but guess only in my journal.

Sorry for the glare but like I said camera skills are lacking. You can click on the cog/gear looking icon and change to 720p for bit better quality.

lol i just have been watching my black leopard male and female going nuts in their new tank the female seems to be the aggressor and is taking on the colors of a male.i had just put in three newbies ,a black tail tamarim ,kuiter leopard ,and a royal cleaner and here my model black leopards that i have had for five years are going off the wall . gonna be a good test here and i might have to get the hook out !

Been waiting to purchase a bipartitus and it looks like I'll have an opportunity coming up to acquire a juvenile/female. Does a sole juvenile/female in a display typically morph into a male or does it normally need the presence of another juvenile/female to trigger that change? After doing quiet of bit of searching I haven't come across anything conclusive and am trying to decide whether to get one or two.

Mike it seems like they change "as the need arises"... What ever that means. Though it seems like they can change with out another female and also may never change even with multiple females.

Thanks Jason it sounds like it is the luck of the draw.

I noticed my female begin the male transformation when I got rid of my most aggressive fish at the time (square back anthias)... I guess the blackspotted leopard wanted to take the tank crown so he started changing colors. Its been about a year almost and he is still not fully changed but each month you do notice the new colors coming through.
