So last weekend, my 11 year old Labrador retriever was not acting like himself, namely he couldn't hold down his food and lost interest in eating.
We took him to the vet and they did some X-rays: They told us that his stomach was full. I figured this was impossible since he hadn't held down a meal in over four days.
Long (and expensive) story short: The vet opened up my dog and emptied his stomach. Check out the contents:
I couldn't believe it. It's actually a continuous strand of carpet fiber pulled from a cheapo carpet in our entryway (with a few of my daughter's hair ties in there for good measure).
I double-checked, and nowhere in the AKC papers can I find where it says he's half billy goat!
And after that vet bill, the stinker better live another 11 years!
