Minimalist Aquascaping

Thanks!! :) I changed it up a bit and think the rocks themselves are about done. Just need more coral now.

Okay, I guess I'll play as well:

Shot from March 2010. I just picked up a longer scraper for the back so I can clean it up!

Wow SaraB i really like how little rock you have, it looks great being so open. I have just a little more rock in my 240, I was going for a look like yours but i went overboard.

The only downside is there is no room to keep corals.

Thanks! The rockwork on the right has SPS on it and the rock on the left will be covered in Acans once I move them back into the tank. I had a Bellus female decide that LPS was a tasty snack! I also added the 3 magnetic reef shelfs on the back wall to hold my chalice collection that are shown in the recent photo.

What kind of sand are you using Bioload? It looks nice.

Hard to believe, but I had about 300lbs of crushed coral in the basement (long story). I screened out the pieces less than 1mm ot use for this tank.....stil not sure what I will be doing with the coarser ones.

I also like that a lot, bioload! I would probably remove the bridge to create more of a two island look, but that is just my personal preference. Great work, can't wait to see your coral choices!
