Mo's 6ftx8ftx3ft SPS Reef Tank

why did you switch from halides to T5 ? I saw the beginning of thread you had halide fixtures up . and do you see any electricity saving ?

The heat was immense. The electricity bill was big.
If my aircon ever failed, I think the lights would have boiled the tank.

T5 tanks are beautiful and royal blue / violet LEDs makes tanks really pop.
Electricity consumption is about 1/3 less., so definitely worth the switch.

It has worked out very well.....

Absolutely stunning reef. I am shocked.
What are the parameters of the water, and how to respond tank to replace the lamps?
What scheme you use now to save water parameters?
Waiting for new photos. Thank you.

Love this tank! My 625g is 7ftx6ftx2ft so similar as far as dimensions go. I will be stealing some ideas from you... Hope you don't mind:spin1:

Can look at their .eu website.
They have supps like iodine/ potassium / Strontium/ Fluorine/ etc.
Bacteria
Carbon source.
Coral aminos/ vits

You dose as you need, with recommended doses if you are not sure"¦.. easy!
Excellent salt too!.

They are easy to follow, hence the great results!

Do you have access from the front and back?

Only the back and sides. The front is closed off, to avoid humidity in the house! :uzi:

Simply breathtaking.

Thanks!
