Oh, no, you have it backwards.... scribbled is dead, lying on the floor. Muelleri is begging for food at the camera. Heni is also fine and eating. :)

Scribbled went from fine and eating to dead in 36 hours...

Sorry about the loss of the scribbled angel. I got mine at the last LA sale and am seeing more of them popping up here and there. LA did really well with that sale so I'm hopeful that there will be another one soon. If not maybe the price will come down a bit since more and more online shops seem to carry them at all sizes.

PS - The fowleri is getting huge!

New update as of today... as usual, updates in red.

Acanthurus leucosternon
Acanthurus fowleri
Caesio caerulaurea - likely to be removed, just looks out of place in the tank.
Caesio teres - got a horrible case of popeye in both eyes and died.
Labroides dimidiatus
Canthigaster papua - got stuck to the Tunze 6255 and died
Choerodon fasciatus (bought as an Aussie, not sure though, due to size)
Chaetodontoplus meredithi
Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis
Pomacanthus asfur
Pomacanthus chrysurus
Pomacanthus navarchus
Holacanthus tricolor
Pygoplites diacanthus
Centropyge loricula
Chaetodon collare
Chaetodon tinkeri
Chaetodon ephippium
Chaetodon falcula
Chaetodon fasciatus
Chaetodon flavirostris
Chaetodon mertensii
Chaetodon mitratus
Chaetodon punctatofasciatus
Chaetodon rainfordi
Chelmon muelleri
Zanclus cornutus
Scarus quoyi
Amphiprion melanopus x 2
Chrysiptera hemicyanea
Chrysiptera starcki For the longest time I thought maybe they were spawning, because I only ever saw one, and he was always hanging around a cave. But at this point I think I just have the one. No idea what happened to the other one
Chrysiptera talboti x 2
Pomacentrus alleni X 2
Pseudochromis sankeyi - have had him forever, he's just so secretive I always forget to add him to the list.
Valenciennea strigata the 4 turned into two pairs. Then one from each pair just disappeared, leaving me again with two that don't care for each other. I hate those fish

Added:
Apolemichthys xanthurus
Chaetodontoplus melanosoma
Genicanthus Lamarck
Halichoeres hortulanus
Microcanthus strigatus

is this the stock list for just your 240?!?!

beautiful tank! congrats! it is very impressive.

i am looking for somewhere between a 240 - 300g for an anemone / fish tank. hoping to have some of the larger and non-reef safe fish that i can't have in my other tanks. probably start with fish only for about 6 months and then add a few carpet nems. any thoughts?

i also saw where you stated you wish you had gone with the deeper tank. i have some long orangutang arms, but i would be up to my armpit in 30" deep trying to reef the bottom. i just passed on a 300dd for that reason. that and the stand was so low it seemed to have been made for a midget. lol :crazy1: maybe with fish only you don't have to reach the bottom that often? my only references are my smaller reef and nem tanks. i've never had one over 75g.

Reaching in a deep tank does get old quickly... As far as the stands go they are all made that way for whatever reason. I made a custom stand for my 220g so I wasn't having to bend over all the time to look at the tank

I have a 30" tall 150g reef, and yeah, it's a pain. But for a FO, it's less so....

What a beautiful set up Peter! I have been planning an upgrade to a 180 Reef, but the more I read about this section the more I want to keep my current reef, but plan for a 180 FOWLR instead. You might have already answered the Qs but I am wondering: 1) did you need to install extra support on your floor for the weight of this tank? 2) Even though you don't need intense lighting since there is no corals, what light do you find to have brought out the best of all the varieties of color spectrums in all your fish?
