Looks good dont know how you got wife to let you put it in the bedroom. Mine hates the little noise from the tunzes and overflows. My fishroom is pretty loud with hammerhead going non stop and water circulation. Good luck!! Hope you dont have to move it. Im gonna find out what its like to move my 10 ft 1 5/8 plexi tank next month.

Guess I'm lucky, she needs white noise to go to sleep, & I sleep like a baby.

I do still need to: swap skimmer feed pump b/c its too loud (defective Genx) & seal the back of the stand with wood or insulation.

I thought I could even put insulation (dynomat) on the inside of the doors.

I can live with it like it is so anything I can do to improve the sound is a plus.

Thanks, I am always open for ideas or suggestions.

There is still so much to get done but there are fish in it finally which makes the work more enjoyable.

I have a kalk reactor to install, hoping that will keep the PH stable at night.

How is everyone else keeping their PH stable??

700 blue legs
200 various snalis
8000 pods
200 Astrea
225 Margarita
Butload of biro spira bacteria (10 Bottles)
2 Coral banded shrimp
1 Cleaner shrimp

5 more bottles of Biro Spira Bacteria.

1- 3" Blue tang

I guess I am lucky, my wife likes to sleep with white noise. She has always liked the tv on when sh goes to sleep or a floor fan that produces white noise. I sleep like a baby with it going.

Now if I can just finish a few odds & ends...


David, no bloom just trying to make sure I stay on top of it. The rock cured for 3-4 months so i hope I will not see one.

Thanks everyone. We got most of the electronics installed I will have to get off my rear & take some pics. I have been working alot & not much time this past week.

I need some ideas for anthias. I would like to put 6-8 of them in but I have a few questions.

What are the best types for reef.
will they all get along, or better to have certain species together
How many male to female ratio should I have.

All suggestions welcome.

I'm no anthias expert, but I think you'd be able to add more than 8 in that tank.
