My First Reef Tank 24g AP Pics

Hi guys new to this forum and wanted to show some pics of my first reef tank Its about 3 month old and really enjoying the hobby and these forums

24 Gallon AP
Sunpod 150w
maxijet 1200
Remora Nano Skimmer
HOB Filter "chemipure"
All stock filter media removed

Any Comments, questions and suggestions welcome

looks good... I also have a 24 AP and was considering upgrading to the 150 watt sunpod, how's the temperature on your tank with that light? How loud are the fans?

The fans are quiet
My temps stay 78-80 Im running with open top and a fan running next to the tank. Always stays 80 or a few degrees below and my apt gets hot

Im very happy with the 150 watt sunpod great product.

Tank looks great! I was just wondering i have 4 bars of 110watt, is that enough for any of your corals in your tank, like even if they were closer to the light. How do you like chemi-pure? Also, so your filtration is basically chemi pure? Would like a pic, but doesnt matter.
I have a 12g nano cube.

Yes, pretty much just chemipure and I use some Filter Wadding about a inch under the built in surface skimmer on the AP.

My nitrates went down 10 after taking out all the stock filter media. The bio-balls and sponges are nitrate traps.

110 on a 12 gallon should be good.

I finally got the hinges off so the hob filter is more left now

Cool thanks, what is that coral in the left hand side...Its close to the return. Is that a hard coral or soft? Just wondering if it would do good in my tank.

The lage pink Clam Shaped one? Its a Plate Coral
