My humble SPS journey - Shallow 80g

Very nice! Everyone now RB free?

Only the new frags have red bugs, they are in my QT. I don't have interceptor yet because the vet had to order it for me. I'm still waiting on it unfortunately, might need to call them back to see what's up.

Nice frags. Shame about the Redbugs. They are easy to kill off with Interceptor. I QT and then Interceptor bath all frags in 4x strength Interceptor before frags go into my display.

I'm not sure if that Hawkins is Hawkins...but the Oregon Tort looks great!

Good job on the Prodibio. If the system works as well as it did for me, you probably wouldnt need to dose it longer than 6 months. Keep an eye on nutrient levels; if they drop off too much then feed the tank a bit more.

Sahin, how long do you bathe frags in interceptor for?

I am very impressed with I have read and seen so far in your thread. Well done.

Those metal clamps will get rusty sooner or later. I would cover them with generous amount of petrol jelly (i.e. vaseline) after wiping them off with fresh water and drying them. I would do the same with your stand's hinges if you use metal ones.

Are you planning to buy more Genicanthus angels? I have four different types in my tank.

Thanks, and will do, thanks for the tip!

I'm considering it, I want to get some more wrasses in there first. :)

Thank you. :)

Beauties! They can be as hard to keep as they are pretty..
Give them lots of food choices..
One of my favorite wrasses..

Yeah I know, hopefully I can get them eating. My brother had one over a year ago that was a pig and ate anything put into the tank, but then a green haddoni ate it when it got spooked. I love these fish and hope to have the same success.

They were out swimming for 5 hours yesterday before they dove in the sand, which I found promising as IME they go straight for the sand when introduced. Time will tell if they'll eat.

Great additions! Such beautiful fish.

Thanks. :D

Damn they're stunning mate!! We do need more pics though, there's only been like 3 on this page so far :p

I know I've been slacking a little bit, I hope you will forgive me. I'll have more to update soon for sure.

I suppose I can forgive you this once :lolspin: how's the tank going? :) Still coming along nicely?? I'm a little jealous of your leopards too, I've always wanted a pair/harem!

Tanks doing pretty good, I'm really happy with how smooth the transition seems to be going. I fully expected more browning out and the only ones that browned further (if even) were already brown upon introduction so....

One of the leopards ate some LRS reef frenzy already, very happy about that. Other is still MIA in the sand I presume.

Some (not so good lol) top down photos, still getting the hang of T5s... I really need a macro lens for Christmas. :D
