:inlove::inlove::inlove: Is that a female watanabei I spy there :D oh man I love your tank even more now haha Genicanthus sp. are my deadset favourites!! We're going to need to see some pics once everything clears up too!!

I really like the idea but I'm scared that I'll regret setting myself up to clean that back pane so thoroughly. Lazy thoughts... :hmm3:

Thanks!
haha well there's only one way to find out! Hopefully it works though as it's such an awesome idea!

Actually it's a female G. Caudovittatus, but very similar besides the price tag. :p

My thoughts exactly, and I already had to scrape the adhesive off once so I know how easy it will be to remove it should I change my mind. But I will basically be spraying pure ammonia to do it so that would be interesting with a running fish tank.

Wow that skimmer looks like a beast.

I bought it because it has a lots of great reviews and because it's quiet, and it of course it matches the sump theme... I haven't had time to set it up so that'll be done tomorrow.

Exciting times :)

It is a beast in performance, especially at the price point, but it actually has a pretty compact footprint. Perfect for a tank this size with under the tank sump IMO.

Thanks, lots left to do but it's headed in the right direction.

Even better lol love the fish, do you just have a female? What other scalely goodies are you hiding from us haha

haha definitely an interesting task at hand if you don't like it :eek1: let's hope it looks as good as it sounds! Has the tank cleared yet? Need some more pics :p

Just the female unfortunately, I love the males, maybe she will change for me hehe.

Here's a teaser photo for you, I should have more tomorrow.

Tank as it sits right now, I still haven't tackled aquascaping but that should be done this week.

Can I get some tips on taking top down photos with T5's? I never had an issue with LED's because they were so easy to push out of the way during a photoshoot, but this is proving to be difficult and surely there's an easy way to do this.

Genicanthus caudovittatus and a white tail bristletooth"¦ I like your style!

Are you going to get another one in hopes one turns male. The males are absolutely stunning. One of my favorite fish I've ever owned.

Honestly I don't know, I might but we'll see.

Wow, love the look of this!!!

That is a very promising rockscape. Careful placement of corals and you will have a stunning display in a year!

Is that rock on the RHS blocking the flow? That may be your only issue down the line as coral growth builds up.

Also, love the SPS choices. Some very nice pieces there.

EDIT: just notice it isnt your final scape  Its still nice, though.

Hahaha thanks mate, that's literally how the rocks went in from the tank transfers; definitely not how I'm keeping it. :p

I've been working on the rocks today and have 75% of it completed, mostly just finishing details left. I'm waiting on the water to clear up a bit before I finish it.

Still a little cloudy but you can get the general idea, I will try to update the FTS again soon.

Tower on the left is for a magnifica anemone eventually.

Well it's still not dialed in how I like it, but we're getting there. Came home to some decent skimmate. :) I'm thinking I made the right choice on skimmers.
