The girl that won the skimmer & reactor is a worker @ Atlantis.
She should be all set now.
The biggest winner was the club. The 50/50 raffle was donated back to us by Ron Hessings travel companion. I was told he did not even want to acknowledge he had the ticket until he was
prodded by someone.
Thanks Andre ! ,and thanks to all that made it possible!

Technically she is an intern student from Stony Brook. We'll be helping her get a tank and sump as well, so another addiction in the making!

Excellent Conference

Excellent Conference

My son Christopher and I, came only for Saturday. I am sorry I did not register for Sunday. Hopefully next year, I with but prepare to stay over in Riverhead. The drive back to Brooklyn so very trying after a day of travelling from one lecture to another. My buddy Anthony Calfo was excellent with his presentation on making money. Excellent topic. And Julian was so nice to autography two books that I carried specially for his autography. His presentation on Old Tank Syndome was excellent. He was able to give me some reasons why my 54 Corner Reef Tank crashed last year.

My only regret was not staying for Sunday. I was offered a every nice Tank setup for "EveryThingReef" . But I had to be there when he took the tank down Sunday. :(

Ray if you read this thread. I am still thinking about that setup. It would have made an excellent quarantine tank as we discuss.:(

The clams I purchase from you are an excellent addition to my reef. Unfortuately I forgot to id them. Are they crosea or maxima.?

PS. It was a good thing I do not stay over. I returned home a leak with my top-off.

They are both Croceas. I am the guy that was with Ray. Glad they are doing well, and good luck with them!

Thanks for the ID. I suspect that they were both Croceas.

Ileana,
If I make it up that way in the near future I will let you know and bring the stuff for you or bring my drill bit and an overflow box and you can watch me build a reef ready tank in front of you :)

Glad the clams are doing well and I would love to see a pic of them in your tank if you get one

thanks
Ray

That would be nice. I post a thread in the Want-To-Buy Forum for a 15 gallon tank and stand.

The larger clam is a beauty. I have a total of 7 clams. The coloration on that clam is awesome. The small clam is acting fenicky. It's open but laying on it side most of the time. I guess it looking a comfortable spot. I am sorry I did not but one clam.

I will try to get so photos.

Thanks for that offer.

try placing a flat rock or a shell under the clam so it has something to attach to, that might help it with moving around
