New 6025 Nano Stream Cover Problem

Hi all,

I just bought a new Tunze Nano Stream 6025. The cover doesn't fit well (the wire prevents it from closing on that side). The cover seems a little flimsy and I'm afraid to push to hard for fear of breaking something.

Anyone else have this same problem?

Thanks!

I havent seen this issue with any of the nanos here. The housing can be a little hard to get on sometimes due to the cord and the clips to keep it on. You should be able to push it on and it will clip in place.

If you find it isnt clipping on properly or doesnt fit correctly, you should be able to return it to where you purchased it. This should be covered under your warranty.

Cheers
Ryan

I can also send a new housing. Sometimes the cover just needs to be pressed on firmly with all tabs lined up, Otherwise the housing may be compressed into an ellipse and reshaping it into a circle by squeezing it should also fix it.

yep i had the same exact problem on mine. roger sent me a new clip and face plate which solved my issue.

GREAT customer service I will be buying tunze from now on.

Next: 9010 ,osmolator, and another 6025.

SB, When you say Roger sent you a new clip? And faceplate... Mine only has a faceplate/front cover. Is there supposed to be a clip as well.

Roger, I tried again, and the clips away from the wire work fine, but i've pushed pretty hard again on the cover and the wire keeps pushing the cover up. It doesn't seem like the clips are setting. If you can, a new housing would be great.

georgec,

The Nanostreams only have the round cover plate. Roger is away until the end of the month if you send him a PM he will get it sorted for you when he returns.

Regards
Graeme
