New AquaController 3/3 Pro Firmware

did you run the firmware update as well as the webpage update?

the link that was there with the zip files, is that the firmware upgrade or webpages upgrade?

The program you run to update the firmware has a separate step to update webpages; you need to do both. There is an"Update web pages" button that you press AFTER completing the firmware update.

I upgraded my AC3pro and iphone app. Both were successful. But now my AquaNote on my computer is unable to control anything. It communicate, and could see the system status. But unable to control

Anyone else experience the same?

Be sure you are running the latest version of AquaNotes (available on the Netpune download area).

My aquanotes is doing the same thing. When I try to put anything in manual mode and hit the update button it just switches back to auto and nothing happens, but the feed button works fine. I can receive data logs and the graphs and events all work fine. I am running the latest firmware on an AC3 and the full version of aquanotes 3.5.3

harman, drdoolittle... I got the same problem... I had to bounce my AC3P (power cycle it) and even shutdown my desktop and reboot AN3 to have it work again.

My graphs are still black after 5-6 hours. My flash player is updated so I'm guessing I need to adjust #2 listed above. I cannot seem to find what Ken is referring to here (delete log from AC option). Where can I find this? I looked in Aquanotes (PC) under Tank Database > Config but did not see anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

On a side note, my Aquanotes for Itouch works perfectly - great upgrade and the graphs work perfectly there.

Craig
Any suggestions on how to fix?

If your graphs appear on the iPhone app then it should work on the graph page; you can also check by opening DataLog (if there is data there then you should see graph).

You may want to contact Neptune and let them know about the issue. You should have OS (version) and browser version handy.

You can try this; open the graph and rt-click, View Source. This will open the HTML in a new window. You should see a huge bunch of numbers, if you do it is likely flash issue, if not maybe controller.

Tip to fix graph problem in Firefox.

If your graphs work on other browsers, except for Firefox, it is most likely because Firefox is using several versions of its Java plugin.

To fix it do the following:

1. In Firefox go to Tools > Add-ons
2. Select the "Plugins" tab
3. Scroll down and find the Java plugin binary that reads "Java(TM) Platform SE [version]" ..if your version is 12 or greater, read post below
4. Disable the old ones so you only have the latest one active.
5. Restart Firefox

It solved my graphs problem so hopefully it will work for you.

Curt,

I have two computers and both run Firefox.

Computer #1
Firefox plugin "Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U11"
Graph Status = Working

Computer #2
Firefox plugin "Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U13"
Graph Status = Not working

Both Computers: Graphs working correctly under IE, Safari, and Chrome

Updated Computer #1 to latest Java (U13) and now the graphs are not working in Firefox. Graphs still work on IE, Safari, and Chrome.

Just thought I would give you the info and see if you can recreate it at the office.

Regards,

Carlos, what Ac3 firmware version? The 3.4 beta firmware uses Flash, not Java. Java is not even installed on the computer I'm using at the moment, and graphs work fine.
