new camera and lens - pics showoff time!!!

beautiful Wayne, thanks for sharing. What are your top 5 favorite SPS in your tank?

Oh man, that's a tough one. I gotta give love to my colonies that I've grown from tiny frags...Purple Monster, SSC, RP, Pink Dragontails, and RD.

Also, have you put your RR pieces into your display yet? How's the growth coming on them?

I have a few RR pieces in my DT. Obviously the RD is a good grower. So is the Purple Dragon Eyes, and the Cactus. The Red Diablo and Wolverine are definitely slower growers though.

Wow, amazing color and growth. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you and you're welcome. It's definitely my pleasure!

Jealous about that cactus! I'm still trying to get Tony to cut me a frag without any luck. How's your Dustin's deepwater doing??

So I moved over like 30 frags from my QT tank to my DT today. I had to move like 5 colonies from my DT to my QT tank to make room. My DT is beyond max capacity. I'm seriously screwed when these frags grow out. I'm putting my tank on lockdown and let it run on cruise control for like the next 6 months to let these frag grow out and color up. Here's a FTS that I took today.

I also noticed this guy today too while I was moving some corals around. It's my Tierra de Feugo. I think it's finally done encrusting and is growing out branches. It's colored up really nicely - soft pink polyps with a yellow/green body.

The colony to the back left of the TdF is pretty nice too. It's the Ultimates Rainbow Acro. I couldn't get a good angle on and good pic of it though. I'll move it closer and try to take a better pic soon.

A macro pic of the TdF:

Looks amazing Wayne!! Let me know what time to come buy and pick up some of those colonies off your hands? I don't want you to feel to cramped.:lmao:

lol...the colonies weren't anything really special...a very large orange sestosa, etc.

Wayne, you better be attending Dave's bbq/frag swap in August and I'd like to get my order in now for some frags of your SPS

I wish I could but that weekend is bad for me. I don't really frag my colonies anyway.

It big...ginormous...larger than a softball. The Tunzes in the front are 6255's and it's much larger than them.

If I was smart, I'd move my Pearlberry colony. It's precariously close to the feeding tentacles when they come out at night.

dang making me want to have a tank again. good job. i really like the before and after picture very good growth for 2.5 yrs
