thanks everyone for the vote of confidence. ive been busy the last few days trying to buy supplies to raise multiple batches at a time. now i know why there are few breeders out there. its not a walk in the park to raise clownfish.
fishgutz, thank you very much

i thought maybe 200. i was told most first batches are small, so 400 is great

unfortunately the first batch will be fish food, since ill be away for the next few days.
again, only after 3 months and they spawned, so i was not prepared at all. im in the process of setting up a larval system so i can culture multiple batches at a time, since i anticipate my other 3 pairs to spawn within the year also.
phender, you are right. it does seem raising the rotifers will be the most difficult part of the process. in preparation, ive ordered artificial and frozen rotifers as backup. ive also bought a really nice brine shrimp set up from florida farms. i know many use the inverted soda bottle, but i wanted something a little better, since im going to have potentially many pairs spawn at same time.
in addition, i ordered otohime. i think i have almost every food source that most current breeders are using
for the amt of money spent on supplies, i could of bought another good pair of clowns lol this hobby is not cheap
i hope to come back from my trip with batch number two.
