pink lemonade

Fishypets, that is almost exactly what mine looks like, except my axial gets more lavender. I even get that one extra long tentacle on many of the polyps. Now that it based out I have over 10 defined tips and many more starting to sprout off, grow baby grow! ;-) One of my tips broke in transport and sprouted off a few branches. Maybe you could cut off 1/4" and remount, the mother might branch out quicker.

John bought it from Tyree as a brown out special. John sold the frag to Hugo, Pasko, and a few others. Pasko really started to show the first pics of it.

I found an old picture, he's not very happy and had been moved from tank to tank to startup tank. He's actually quite a bit larger now with lots of new tips.

It really dosen't look anything like the pictures that i have seen. no disrespect on the comment above. It just does not have that great looking color that some have posted. Maybe photoshop can help it out

I don't disagree at all! I'm just wondering if Snipersps's colors can be replicated in other tanks. Kinda like a coral I saw in gcarroll's tank - its ridiculous, but others can't seem to replicate it. I am certain (99%) mine came from the same coral but its yellow/green and not that crazy green. Then again all my corals are quite abused and my only goal is to keep them alive while I get setup. So who knows.

AAMOF, until I saw Fishypets pic I wasn't even sure mine was the same coral at all. Either way - I'm not into names much and I love the yellow/green with pink/purple polyps.

Dave, the carzy green really came through on the lower branches of Hugo's colony. He was having a few tank issues at the time, but even then, his lower branches were crazy green and the polyps were pink. The upper branches weren't as nice looking.

Interesting. I found the pic from Atlantis. The one thing I notice in most all the pix is the unusually large polyp and great PE. Well, mine has definitely been to hell n back (currently in hell again :lol: ) but we'll see once I have the tank going again. Here is the pic from them. Even without the green that Hugo gets, they are all beauties - really different than others. I'd love to see a pic of a whole colony somewhere

Bad news i lost my colony of pink lemonade also around 250 more corals I didn't have elctricty for two days and I lost my whole tank so if someone has the pink lemonade can I buy it back

OMG I don't even know what to say Hugo. I will get you a frag and hopefully you can bring it back to its former glory. I have other SPS I will cut for you as well, all free of course. I'm assuming it was the TOTM tank?

I am so sorry to hear that; you had a beautiful tank, one of my favorite totm's. I noticed some websites have been down the past few days; i heard it was because of blackouts in ca.

That first pic of the pink jade was Yikans colony. The pink jade and the pink lemonade are not the same coral though.
