Great- thank you.... It would be a good 4-6 weeks of getting used to each also correct?

Should I try with out egg crate first to give both fish more room?

I would try egg crate first, then if no obvious hostility or posturing, try removing it. It can always be reinserted if need be.

Hello planning a FOWLR in a 29gal with a 20gal long sump. I might add coral in later.
Thinking about adding them in this order

2x Zebra Barred Dartfish (same time)
Sailfin Blenny
Royal Gramma Basslet

Also I have seen a Rhino Blenny (Paraclinus nigripinnis) on Diver's Den but there is no information to be found about it. Would like your opinion about the Rhino, and could it replace the Sailfin?
Thank you for your service!

Your plan should work with either blenny.

Brand New

I'm starting up a 57G mix reef with a ~8G sump (as soon as it arrives). Planning for a heavy bioload with heavy skimming, no fuge, and about 60 lbs (dry) of live rock. I'm in the planning phase, though I know I have another few months to wait for the cycle.

SPS/LPS Mixed

Inverts - Cleaner crew + Pistol Shrimp + BTA

Ocellaris (Pair?)
1 Purple Firefish
1 Gold Assessor Basslet
1 Flame Hawkfish
1 Yellow Watchman Goby

ONE Center Piece (Smallish)
Pearlscale Butterflyfish OR
Fairy Wrasse OR
One Spot Foxface

Would LOVE a flame angel instead of the above (show piece), but scared off by the "reef safe" conversations.

Thoughts?

1 Yellow Watchman Goby

ONE Center Piece (Smallish) A flasher or fairy wrasse would work; no butterfly fish (appropriate to this sized tank) or dwarf angel is reef safe long term
Pearlscale Butterflyfish OR
Fairy Wrasse OR
One Spot Foxface needs a larger tank

Would LOVE a flame angel instead of the above (show piece), but scared off by the "reef safe" conversations. justifiably so

Hello, I'm moving my 50dt/40sump into a 180dt/65sump in a couple of months.

Current contents of tank

2 black and white mated percula's that host about 9-RBTA's that will not stop splitting. I will be getting rid of about 5.

1 stairy eyed blenny

2 peppermint shrimp
2 skunk cleaner shrimp

Tons of Zoa's and Paly's

green tipped leather coral

Maxima clam approx 4"

As you can see, I'm not a big fish stocker.

Would like to know how compatible these fish/inverts would be with my new setup.

2 more skunk cleaners

Lyretail Anthias would like about 6, 1 male.

2 Yellowheaded jawfish (or 4)

2 Diamond Gobies

Durasa Clam

Various LPS/SPS corals

Recommendation on clean-up crew and maybe 1 larger fish (Tang maybe)

Cheers

2 more skunk cleaners It has been my experience that only two per tank work

Lyretail Anthias would like about 6, 1 male. may end up with multiple males

2 Yellowheaded jawfish (or 4) assumes a sand bed that will work

2 Diamond Gobies it has been my experience that only one will work long term

Durasa Clam

Various LPS/SPS corals

Recommendation on clean-up crew and maybe 1 larger fish (Tang maybe) an excellent algae grazer is one of the Ctenochaetus tangs

Cheers

would that be a bad thing?

2 Yellowheaded jawfish (or 4) assumes a sand bed that will work

No corals in the sand, all on shelf rock. Only rocks in the middle of the tank with shelf bridges. it will be complete 180 degree swim around tank. 2-3 " sand bed

Other species e.g. resplendant or carberryi have less tendency to do so. Males will squabble, especially without a harem of females to herd

You will need a fairly deep sand bed, more like 4-5 inches of sand and gravel mix.

I'd appreciate your advice on this livestock. I've tweaked this since I asked before. :)

For a 75 gallon DT (with a 30 gallon sump). 50ish pounds of live rock (well, 5 live and 45 cycled dry rock).

Fish:

Mandarin Dragonet (after the tank has been running a year)
Starcki Damselfish
Firefish
Red Hat Solon Fairy Wrasse
Ocellaris Clownfish
One Spot Foxface

Corals:

Open Brain Coral
Starburst Polyp
Cauliflower Colt Coral
Toadstool Mushroom Leather
Mushroom Rock Rhodactis

Inverts:

Blood shrimp
Blue leg and red leg hermit crabs
peppermint shrimp
skunk cleaner shrimp
Dwarf Colored Feather Duster
Bumble Bee Snails
Mexican Turbo Snails
Spiny Star Astraea
Trochus Snails

Thanks for your feedback!

Fish: ok, except as noted. I am not in favor of damsel fish in tanks smaller than 100 gallons

Starcki Damselfish
Firefish
Red Hat Solon Fairy Wrasse
Ocellaris Clownfish
One Spot Foxface coral safe only if well fed

Cauliflower Colt Coral
Toadstool Mushroom Leather
Mushroom Rock Rhodactis can eat fish

hi i want to get my first saltwater aquarium 50g Aqua reef (AquaReef195) and was wondering weather i could have a pair of ocellarias clown fish, lawnmower blenny, pair of red dartfish, 3 green chromis and maybe dwarf angel fish (flame angel) if its compatible with a reef. Do you think I've over stocked or is there any recommendations with my list.

Thanks Tom
