Stocking two tanks.

14g reef biocube:
-Purple Firefish
-Yellow Clown Goby
-Catalina Goby

29g reef biocube:
-pair of Ocellaris Clowns
-Royal Gramma Basslet

-Green Mandarin
OR
-Longnose Hawkfish and Azure Damsel

Having more troubles trying to stock the 29. Unsure of how well the mandarin would do in that size tank.

Hi i have a 30 gallon bowfront tank with 30 pounds of live rock and 30 pounds of live sand. I have a 50 gallon hang on the back filter with a bio wheel. I have a T8 50/50 17watt light, a skimmer and two powerheads. The tank is going to be a reef tank. Here is my wish list I haven't really decided what fish I want yet but here are some of my choices/ones I want:
snowflake eel or white eye moray eel
no
pair of clownfish
small group of pajama cardinals
a pair
black cap basslet
splendid dottyback
no
horned blenny
sea serpent or brittle starfish
blue tuxedo or pincushion urchin
yellow tang or other smaller tang
no
shrimp, crabs, snails, etc.
firefish
small group of agile chromis
I know there is a lot it is just that they are all so pretty and it is very hard to choose is there any way that you could help me limit my choices. :)

Hi all. This is my first post, just joined last night. I have a 60 cube. (Still dry) I'm getting RO water from colligan cheap. Diy stand and 20 gallon high sump. (Check pictures) bubble magus 5.5. And an ocean revive dimable sun and moon phase light. And a jebao adjustable powerhead 500gph-4000L. I plan to start the tank with instant ocean bacteria. And put in a few snails. The plan is a mixed reef some of everything if I can.

The stock plan is still changing but I was thinking yellow watchman, 2 clowns (not marron as they are too big), royal grama, purple fire fish, and hopefully a dwarf angel of some kind Maybe a pygmy angel.

And a mix of corals, hammer, some sps not sure which yet. And an anenome after 6-8 months. Then the clownfosh after that. And I do know I have to keep a very close eye on the anenome because the move alot before they settle. I'll attach pics an a minute or so.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

that plan should be fine

[welcome]

Very glad to come across this thread. New to the hobby and my new to be 'lps and soft coral tank' comes on 21st, just getting some ideas over the next couple of months before stocking :)

Tank - 75 US gallon 40"x18"x24" (LxDxH)
Sump - 20 US Gallon, DSB + LR
Skimmer - Curve 5
Powerhead - MP40
Live Rock DT - 70lbs + 2 in. sand bed

Not sure if that information is relevant but it is there just incase.

Stocking as follows - hopefully:
Yellow Tang - Juvenile (Will move to friends 150 US Gallon when too big)
2 x Ocellaris Clown
1 x Pajama Cardinal
1 x Royal Gramma
1 x Purple Firefish
1 x Green Mandarin
1 x Pistol Shrimp
1 x Yellow Watchman Goby
1 x Flasher Wrasse
1 x kaudern's Cardinal
1 x One Spot Foxface

Other possible additions are below but feel I am pushing my luck on stocking level anyway:

Blue Dot Jawfish - possibly
Puffers - Not sure if possible for any type but would be nice.

CUC - Open to lots of advice :)
2 turbo snails
5-6 hermit crabs
1 sandsifting star
3-4 Nassarius Snails
1 cleaner shrimp

Thankyou very much in advance :)

EDIT: So after reading a few pages back I have the feeling I have really overdon eit with stocking. I suppose that is why I am here though, to learn and get constructive critism.

Yellow Tang - Juvenile (Will move to friends 150 US Gallon when too big) we do not recommend fish that would need to be rehomed. Fish size is not the issue.
2 x Ocellaris Clown
1 x Pajama Cardinal
1 x Royal Gramma
1 x Purple Firefish
1 x Green Mandarin after nine months
1 x Pistol Shrimp
1 x Yellow Watchman Goby
1 x Flasher Wrasse
1 x kaudern's Cardinal
1 x One Spot Foxface

fine except as annotated; the additions would not work

2 turbo snails
5-6 hermit crabs snails or crabs, but not both
1 sandsifting star will starve after depleting your sand bed

1 cleaner shrimp

The temminicki wrasse should be fine. I do not think the splendid dottyback will do well with your fairy wrasses. The only one that might work is P. fridmani.
