Radion mounting?

TrukingNY that looks awesome. Did you have those made by MR member SaltwaterinBrooklyn? Like how you hid the wire.

@ecfencing yes i did great guy to work with.. thank you i hate wires i cant stand looking at them wish everything was wireless even for power lol

There's was video of a Reef Savvy tank at MACNA 2013 that had some sick looking Radion mounts, I think they may be something that Ecotech has coming in the future but I'm not sure. They mounted to the back of the tank and arched over to center with the radion attached in the middle.

If those were the acrylic ones, you can find them. There is a custom maker of acrylic mounts that were cool, but $$$$$$

^^^ $1500. Company that makes them is local to me. They are VERY nice, I've seen it in person but I could not justify the cost.

Google "MRC MATSA" and you'll find pics. I don't want to post them direct since we are in the Ecotech forum.

MRC makes these... they have a retail store near Atlanta called Sea Atlanta where you can see these first hand on there own display tanks. It's a serious piece of custom craftsmanship. But at $1500 way out of my budget.

This is the mount I spoke of, it's on a Reef Savvy Tank at MACNA..

Is this made by MRC also??

bellis,

The mounting bracket in that video was custom made specifically for trade shows and demonstration purposes by EcoTech Marine.

I ben't some 1/2'' conduit pipe and attached it to the back of my stand. The wires are not the prettiest things, but it works.
