Speckled Grouper

Sticks Suck!
We were fortunate enough to experience what every diver dreams of.....it's half way around the world, but it's worth every mile traveled.....Raja Ampat, Papua, Indonesia....

great pics, especially the stingray.

you should consider running these thru lightroom, do some post processing to knock down some of the overexposure in the wide angle shots. elsewise, great shots.

sounds like a trip of a lifetime.

Hehe, it's just a point and shoot camera I'm using....pretty happy with the results.
Coming to your neck of the woods in December.....next trip is going to be Fiji, Tawara and Majuro....:)

lightroom is an UW photographers best friend :)

great composition on the second sets.

what are you shooting with?

i changed the exposure only on this shot. you can download a free evaluation copy online.

Yes, that is one of the best diving areas of the world (for that kind of diving especially). Possibly because it is far enough away that lots of folks don't go? Also, awesome images for a point and shoot camera.

Here are a few more pictures of the clams we found during our dives. Most of them were over 3 feet long.

Thanks for sharing your awe-inspiring photos. How long were you in Indonesia or maybe a better question would be, how often did you get to dive while there?
